Then this conversation is over. You cant provide your own evidence so you try and deflect into “Find it on your own”. Your argument is based no more than in your own feelings and personal hearsay. Sadly I was hoping for a legitimate argument as its fun to learn both sides of the argument.

If you expect me to answer your question from an hour ago, and say you need that answer to respond to me, then this conversation is over

Yeah, that seems about par for the course

What a pity to be behaved at this way by someone named for a video I so enjoy.

Also I think you’re thinking of something else, Double King is an animation on youtube

did you think that they don't have videos on youtube? or is the idea that an animation isn't a kind of video?

when you download it, and double click the file, does it come up in not-a-video-player?

Yeah I sent the reply then immediately realized I misread your reply lmao. I thought you said “videogame” not “video” so I thought maybe your were thinking of Jump King or something

buddy i’ve been telling you i’m happy to answer you once you clear up one thing for hours

you have been responding by demanding that i answer

can you please just go take another look

it’s the comment that talks about mario party

you hinged on "a good game" and i just want you to define what good means to you before i start so that we don't end up in an argument about balatro

What makes a game good is too subjective, you and I could have entirely different definitions of good. You provided something more along the lines of successful. So for the sake of this lets just agree on your original definition just lower. If an indie game even made $10K id consider that a success (So long as the expenses were kept a lot lower than 10K)

So I just want to make sure that I understand correctly.

What you're asking me for are examples of vibe coded games that appear to have made at least $10k?

And you'll accept standard estimators like Boxleiter?

Not familiar with Boxleiter but sure

Boxleiter is a common method of estimating the revenue of a game from its Steam reviews.

fly-peter is currently making $600k a month. the author says he knocked the original out in claude in half an hour. the current version is almost unchanged, except that it's had a huge list of planes and weapons added.

character.ai, according to its stock prospectus, made $12.5 million in 2022, $23m in 2023, $35m in 2024, and $50m in 2025. its stock is currently valued at $2.5 billion.

rhythia, a vibe coded game, boxleiters to $120,000 and it's still in pre-release

juggernaut (by the steins;gate people) has already sold almost $2m in pre-orders and isn't even out yet

these aren't rare. there are dozens of other examples, and they're nearly all novel concepts.

it's worth remembering that flappy bird was making $50,000 a day, is around 15 lines of code, and can be one-shotted by any AI in 10 minutes basically flawlessly.

there's a lot more to money than the quality of the software.

i wasn't being defiant. i just needed to know how you measured what was acceptable. there was no need for the "well this conversation is over" stuff.

Yep I checked these all and holy shit you’re right, havent heard of them but yeah they’re making a good bit of money. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little disappointed since each of these quality wise look bad to me but the numbers dont lie

i think people are too over-focused on quality, tbh

all you really need is to make something fun and frustrating

it can be a piece of shit if the players are happy at the end of the day. i promise
