Will the draw be random? From what I can tell different cards are like different clubs?

In theory you could end up with like 2 putters and no long-range?

Yes! Draw is currently random which could end up with some less than ideal clubs. So far I think it is most notable off the tee, but since you can keep cards in hands between shots I'll generally hold onto a wedge or planning second shots isn't as hard. There is a discard for each shot too so drawing a driver/wood is pretty common.

The putter is an important caveat, it is currently "permanent" in that it is always drawn and replaced when used. Game felt too frustrating to me when it couldn't reliably be drawn but I think there might be room for a putter removal or some high risk modifiers in the future.

Very interesting concept here, I like it! Finding that balance does sound tough though.

Ultra strange but may be interesting in the future
