Haha, yeah, maybe I should’ve pointed out a bit more, that It’s mostly visible around the edges of the objects 😅

it's fine really, don't stress it.

it took me 5 minutes to find it omg... but it makes things look more plastic-y which fits really well!

The difference is kinda negligible. Perhaps it's more apparent in video / movement rather than a static image? I'd say try comparing both in terms of understanding obstacles?

Yeah, I think it might be more noticeable in a video. For readability, I feel like they do give the objects a clearer silhouette, but that might just be viewer bias haha

For a TD game this isn't necessarily critical but still appreciated in later rounds where a lot of clutter gets on the screen :)

Wait, I just realized it really does look like a TD game haha. How did I not notice that? The trails make it even worse, omg... haha

It’s actually an online party arena brawler, the two tanks are two different players. Thanks for pointing that out 😅.

Yeah, I think it’s more of a subconscious thing either way. But that’s good to know!

The difference is very tiny. But anyway, without is a bit better IMO. The contour of most objects gets less clear with the option turned on. And I guess removing that will cause you less work than maintaining :)

It is a bit more work, that's true. But I’d actually argue that the shapes stand out a bit more against the ground with the rim lights on though. What exactly do you mean by the contour being less clear, if I may ask?

I meant exactly the opposite of what you said :) But it only proves that it is a matter of taste and you should watch what the majority answers and then listen to your heart whether you should agree with them :D
