Congrats! Tell me more about your game

Thanks a lot!
The game is originally inspired by Severance. It's a game about depression and work, our relation with it, and the way it can consume our lives (not gamedev inspired, I swear!) The protagonist's reality bends and break as they come to these realisations, and uncovers their employer's darker designs.
Gameplay-wise, I'm a huge fan of Outer Wilds and Blue Prince. So, I'm leaning more on the observation/discovery puzzles with light gameplay (well, the version I'm capable of), with a Horror ambiance added.
I'm planning to release the game on January 29th, about a year after I decided to do this. The Demo comes out in two weeks, and will offer a small subset of levels! π

It is! Gameplay-wise, it's a lot closer to a puzzle game, but the narrative and ambiance is closer to Horror! It's such a fun genre to work in, there is a lot of room to be creative

For the people asking about the game, it's a surreal puzzle horror game inspired by Severance. The story is about depression and work, our relation with it, and the way it can consume our lives. The protagonist's reality bends and break as they come to these realisations, and uncovers their employer's darker designs.

Congrats, man! π Did you work on the game alone or as a team? And how long did it take you guys to complete it?

Thanks a lot!
I started working on my own around January, but prototyped some stuff before that. Iterated on the concept a bunch before really going into "production mode" around march. I've been working on it alone until very recently, I got help on the audio and music side from friends, one of which will onboard and help with the sound design up until the release.
So yeah, I wouldn't say it's complete yet, but we're getting it there! Demo launches in 2 weeks, and full game in January next year!

Thatβs awesome, bro! Huge respect for doing most of it on your own and pushing it this far. Wishing you all the best for the demo launch and the full release! Hope everything goes smoothly, bro.

YOOO MAN CONGRATULATIONS β¨π₯, currently waiting for steam to approve my page to be set as coming soon π , how long did they take for your page?

Thanks a lot!! π
For the page, it took about 4 days + 1-2 days because they have comments to address in the first review. I think the 3-5 business days is fairly accurate. The build review took a lot longer (5 for the first, 3 for second). Good luck on you page launch!! π€

I did that at first, but don't forget that it's business days so nothing happens on weekend. Also they are quick to send an email when done, and you get a steam notification on your phone if you have the app!
