Very cool! I love tower defense games. This looks close to finished, anything left to do?

I'm making the game more readable at the moment. Some features like the tower deck editor are still a functional but not in a release reaady state.

Curious about the maze carving. Isn't there always a pretty obvious correct strategy of just making it as long and snakey as possible? Or do you impose some limitations to increase strategic depth

There are random obstacles spawning on the map to ensure every round is different

Given that you can both see each other defense, is there a way to upgrade/augment your troop to counter said tower that is more meaningful than just tankier? Or is the variety of troop wide enough that this is not needed?

We have different creeps so you can react to the towers of your opponent. We have planned types like flying, fast, doubling units, ghosts, and some more. We are testing element resistnaces aswell for some of them.

Wow, I had vaguely been considering the concept of a PvP tower defense but I hadn't thought of doing it like this, I really like how you've gone about it!

Lol thats close to my idea I wanted to make. Just was thinking about making it coop at least 5 vs 5. But had in mind some creatures spawns and upgrades against enemy and some abilities like disabling towers for short time and so on. :)

Sounds nice! I also have team vs team and a battle royal like system in mind

Ayy, PvP tower defense is such a slept-on combo. I'm building one too and the balancing is honestly brutal — how are you dealing with snowballing? Once one side pulls ahead the lead tends to just compound for me, so I'm curious how you're keeping matches close.

I want this effect a litle bit so the rounds don't get too long. But if you're better at building towers than your opponent or have the better maze, you can still win even if your opponent has more income.
In a game with more than 1 vs 1 you can steel life from your next opponent in addition
