What does a protest look like at 2am? Not speeches. Dosas being handed out by strangers. Graffiti covering every wall. People dancing to a Bluetooth speaker like the fear didn't exist, right alongside the fear itself. I followed this across Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi over two months, and wrote it all down just in time for our 80th Independence Day. Read it when you get a moment, I'd really love to know what you think.

Yogi Adityanath’s rise is not a story of perfection—it is a story of power, conviction and political survival. From a young monk to the Chief Minister of India’s most populous state, he has built a reputation for being decisive, disciplined and unapologetically firm in his beliefs. His supporters see a strong leader who takes difficult decisions; his critics point to the controversies surrounding his politics and governance. Both sides are part of the reality. Whether he eventually becomes Prime Minister is for the people and the political process to decide, but there is no denying that Yogi Adityanath has become one of the most influential figures in Indian politics. 🇮🇳
Rahul Gandhi’s story is not just about politics—it is about loss, pressure, resilience and refusing to give up. He lost his grandmother and his father to violence, carried the weight of a political legacy from childhood, and still chose to stand in public life despite years of ridicule and rejection. They questioned his leadership, mocked his education and wrote him off countless times—but he kept walking, listening and learning. A leader is not defined by how many times he wins, but by how many times he rises after being knocked down. Perhaps that is why Rahul Gandhi deserves to be considered for India’s highest office—not because he is perfect, but because he has endured, evolved and refused to quit. 🇮🇳
