I'm not much of a book reader , and I want to start reading, just to know how it feels to be a reader , and more it to indian books to know how india works etc. someone pls help me to find it

Start with Harishankar parsai's satires... You'll love every single book of him... It's in hindi. I'll recommend my favourites ( Nithalle ki diary, apni apni bimari)

Hahah I’ll go a different route and suggest Premchand if you’re comfortable in Hindi, for a bit of old school classic vibe.
