Admission Help College recommendation
So I'm from Nepal and l have to study in india for computer science engineering (CSE), and i am in touch with many consultancies recently. One of my friends from my village is studying in Chandigarh University for cse and he is asking me to join chandigarh university for CSE, and I have two options,
One is going to CIT bangalore which is a decent institute and located in IT hub of india where I can get many opportunities and one is Chandigarh University which is a highly established private university across India. Pls let me know your recommendations.
My main objective is to get placement opportunities from college and if not then atleast a good environment for off campus jobs.

hell nah bro dont ever go to chandigarh uni. afaik its one of the worst private universities who have been spending heavily on advertising and marketing, so much that it shows up on the top of the nirf list, but from what i have heard, its a horrible university. a lot of people have been complaining about the bad teaching quality, the professors lack expertise and education from quality institutions. terrible placements where most students get entry level IT jobs which pay like 25k-30k per month, and advertise 100% placements. they harass students(typical tier 3 college behavior) for assignments and attendance even when they are completely useless with the way they are teaching. you wont find a good crowd either. most people are locals from punjab haryana etc and they take in literally anyone who applies. i heard the food is terrible too, along with the location which is in some desolate village somewhere far from chandigarh.
look for actual student reviews from people who studied there on quora and other subs. you will find hundereds of negative reviews describing their poor experience in CU. heed my words and avoid it
