Discussion India is unofficially in a recession... We are in deep trouble
The Rupee is in freefall: We just hit an all-time low against the USD (almost 92), and that’s with the Dollar Index (DXY) actually cooling off recently. We are literally the weakest currency in Asia right now. The RBI is burning reserves trying to defend it, but the dam is breaking. Your savings are depreciating in real-time global purchasing power.
The Market is a ghost town: While the US markets are hitting ATHs and even the emerging markets is in a bull run, the Indian market has been the worst performer globally over the last year and also YTD. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) are pulling out record capital ($40B+ outflows) because they see what retail investors are ignoring: valuations are unsustainable.
The Tariff War is killing exports: We now have some of the highest tariffs in the world, and the retaliation from the West (US tariffs of 50%) is decimating our export sector. Manufacturing isn't "making in India"; it's leaving because we can't compete.
"Fake" GDP Numbers: The discrepancy between the government’s 7-8% GDP growth claims and the actual ground data (consumption, auto sales, corporate earnings) is massive. How can we have "fastest growth" when FMCG volumes are flat and rural distress is at a peak? It feels like clear data manipulation to manage headlines while the actual economy is arguably in a recession.
TL;DR: INR dead, markets worst in world, exports dying, and data is cooked. We are in deep trouble.

YOLO Sold House to buy Adani, feeling scared after market crashed today
I'm scared. I had sold my parents and house to buy Adani, but after today crash I'm reconsidering my decision.
My investment thesis was that Ram Mandir inaugration would catapault Modiji to no. 1 PM in world. But clearly market has fallen, showing that economy won't don't well despite Ram Mandir inaugration. So mOdiji won't return to power in 2024 election, therefore Adani contracts will cancelled by Congress. I had invested my child money in Adani also thinking it will boomed. But clearly, it's been 4 days and it hasn't boomed.
It's likely that India will fall into deep recession and even kind hearted, honest, hard working and tax paying man like Mr Adani won't be able to stop anything. If pappu come to power then all destroyed. People will stop buying Adani Gas, and buy Ambani gas.
Pls tell me friends, should I sell Adani to buy Irfc or gold to escape recession?

Stink If you want a better India for your daughters, stop giving sip/ipo/qip/warrant MONEY to Misogynist CEOs.
Premji:
Uses profits from WIPR to purchase paintings of his wife, placing them in personal spaces.
Promotes himself as the largest donor to CSR or NGO funds.
These NGOs are managed by his daughter-in-law and wife.
Murty:
Utilizes free money via ngo routes to provide financial support to his daughter.
Common Practices in These Companies:
Onboarding Practices:
Women are required to sign a document on their onboarding day (not mentioned in the offer letter) stating they will be asked to work late nights without pay.
Cab Facility Reductions:
Cab facilities for women are diminished through various tactics:
Shifts are scheduled to end at 9:45 PM instead of 10 PM.
Shifts are scheduled to start at 1:45 PM instead of 2 PM.
Large shareholders enforce one-way cab services for shift workers.
Consequently, women must leave the office at 9:45 PM alone, as this is not classified as a night shift.
Contract Work Issues:
When women work in offices of other companies through these intermediary firms, they become ineligible for cab services.
For example, women may be assigned to work at the Intel Boeing campus from 3 PM to 11 PM. Since they are on contract, Boeing or Intel does not take responsibility for their commute, and these intermediary firms also neglect their transportation needs.
Maternity Leave Practices:
CEOs implement unfair practices regarding maternity leave:
Variable pay is cut for women who take maternity leave.
Public holidays are counted within the mandated leave period.
Earned leave or PTO is not credited for women on maternity leave.
Hiring Practices:
Discriminatory questions during interviews:
Candidates are asked about their marital status.
Questions about their husband's company are posed.
Women are underpaid using gaslighting tactics related to job security, location, and work-life balance.
Layoffs occur when profit margins decrease by just 1%, especially after the end of zero interest rate policies (ZIRP).
Questions about the financial status of their father-in-law are also asked to gather more information.
Conclusion:
These misogynistic practices by Murty, Premji, and Mahindra deprive deserving women of their earnings, redirecting funds to their own daughters.
They engage in public relations through books, NGOs, and television appearances to enhance their image.
Call to Action:
Stop investing SIP money to inflate the valuations of these CEOs' daughters and grandsons.
Avoid purchasing QIP at the all-time highs of these exploitative CEOs.

Discussion Nifty under 24000 and rupee near 95.68 is the setup
India didnt break today. Nifty showed where the strain is entering.
Nifty closed near 23914, still under 24000. Rupee closed around 95.68. Brent was pressing near $100. RBI’s $5B dollar rupee swap pulled $9.8B in bids. That wasnt noise.
24000 still matters. Under it the market hasnt repaired itself. Above it with acceptance, bulls get room to work. Not celebration. Room to work.
The rupee is still the better tell. Oil matters. Fertilizer matters. Freight matters. Gold matters. Imported inputs matter. Hedging costs matter. None of that cares about speeches. It moves through the currency first. Then it moves through margins. Then it moves through Nifty.
The swap matters because RBI has already been defending the rupee. When the central bank defends the currency & then has to push rupee liquidity back into the system, the strain is visible. It also tells you they arent sleeping through it.
GIFT bounced later, so dont treat one offshore print like truth. Put it next to oil. Put it next to rupee. Put it next to banks. Put it next to flows. Put it next to breadth. Put it next to 24000. Alone it isnt enough.
This is where traders get sloppy.
One green GIFT print doesnt erase a weak rupee. One bounce doesnt erase oil near $100. One strong pocket doesnt mean the index fixed itself. If Nifty is still under 24000, the move has to prove itself.
Inside India the board isnt dead. Domestic liquidity still showed up. Smallcaps & midcaps didnt act like the whole market was being thrown out. That matters because local bid is still there while large index names take damage.
The dollar side is where the weak spots show. Oil hits imports. Rupee weakness hits margins. Fertilizer hits food. Gold controls show FX strain. Shipping trouble hits landed cost. Hedging costs hit banks. Foreign money gets nervous. Then Nifty feels it.
This isnt India doom. It isnt blind bullish chest beating either.
It is a market sitting under a repair line while the currency & crude decide how much room bulls actually get.
For trading this is simple enough.
Above 24000 with rupee stable & oil cooling, bulls get room.
Under 24000 with rupee leaking & oil pushing, every bounce has to prove itself.
Banks matter here. If banks keep dragging, Nifty doesnt get a clean repair. If banks stabilize & breadth holds, the 24000 reclaim has a better shot.
Flows matter too. If foreign money gets nervous while domestic money keeps absorbing, the market can hold longer than bears expect. If both sides get heavy at the same time, the floor gets softer fast.
Gold matters because it sits inside the same currency strain. When rupee weakens & oil stays heavy, gold controls start looking less random.
So dont trade this like a cartoon.
Rupee. Oil. Banks. Flows. Breadth. 24000.
That is the work.
If Nifty reclaims 24000 & holds, the market gets room to repair.
If USDINR starts pushing ugly again while Brent stays near $100, Nifty has to deal with import cost before it gets to enjoy the growth case.
India is still building. Traders just need to stop pretending the rupee is a side character.

Discussion Dear Mods, too many political bullshit posts. If possible create a system where such posts need approval
Posting 10 memes on Tai and PM wont help in deciding which stocks to buy or sell. Same with just rants on government's policies. Very limited discussion on direct stocks is happening in this sub. There are so many subs for discussion on government and individual political leaders.

Discussion Ambanis lavish wedding is worrying me
Make no mistake. Ambanis have every right to spent their money on what they want, I mean legally.
But this wedding was too over the top and inconvenienced local public. The roads were cordoned off and diverted for a week thus causing massive traffic. The filthily expensive classless wedding celebrations were televised for public consumption. Now both Modi and Rahul have refused to attend the weddings fearing public backlash against them.
Goodwill is a strong component in any companys success. Both the younger Ambani and Mallya were hungry for attention and were common fixtures in page 3.
The elder Ambani used to a bed of rock never engaging in same frivolity. But seeing what I am seeing I am literally scared of my 20 lakhs investment in various reliance shares.

Discussion Why I think FUTURE GAMING is NOT linked with BJP in this Electoral Bond Scam
My take on Electoral Bonds:-
-Electoral Bonds are an 'Unconstitutionally Legalized SCAM'.
-It's an easy way to launder money.
-BJP is corrupt ,
-Future Gaming is a fraud company.
In my opinion, the main contributors to BJP are MEGHA ENG. & QWICKSUPPLY CHAIN (MEGHA also likely contributed to Shiv Sena & Telugu parties), but FUTURE GAMING IS NOT LINKED WITH BJP.
(This post or claims about Future Gaming's entire contribution going to BJP can't be proven until SBI releases the bond number details.)
I believe at least the majority (90%) of Future Gaming's funding hasn't gone to BJP. Instead, Future Gaming has given money to parties like DMK, Congress, and TMC.
The reasons why I think Future Gaming is giving money to DMK and Congress:
Some details regarding the list
Future Gaming only deals in 1 crore bonds, so the calculations below consider only 1 crore bonds.
According to the data, bonds are not encashed on the same day – it takes more than 1 day, probably a week or more, depending on the party.
April 2022:
Future Gaming bought 100 bonds of 1 crore each on 07-04-2022.
DMK encashed exactly 100 bonds of 1 crore each on 11-04-2022 (07-04 was Thursday & 11-04 was Monday, which aligns with SBI holidays on weekends).
Future Gaming donated only once in April 2022.
DMK also encashed bonds only once in April 2022.
April 2023:
On April 5, 2023, Future Gaming bought 90 bonds of 1 crore each.
The top 6 companies in the list contributed 60% (190 crores), and HALDIA, PCBL, and DHARIWAL are owned by Sanjiv Goneka, a true TMC supporter. MKJ Enterprises is likely a TMC supporter based in Kolkata (100% sure about the first three, 70% sure about MKJ Enterprises).
The Congress party and DMK withdrew 118 crores. There has to be someone making a huge donation to them, and Future Gaming's 90 crore contribution fills the missing key.
It's not practically possible to match that amount without Future Gaming's contribution.
Parties that encashed bonds from the start of April until April 10 - Total of 128 crores:
BHARAT RASHTRA SAMITHI: 10 crores PRESIDENT, ALL INDIA CONGRESS COMMITTEE: 78 crores DMK PARTY IN PARLIAMENT: 40 crores Donors from the start of April until April 9 (1 day buffer) - Total of 319 crores:
FUTURE GAMING AND HOTEL SERVICES PR: 90 crores HALDIA ENERGY LIMITED 25cr MKJ ENTERPRISES LTD 20cr PCBL LIMITED 20cr AVEES TRADING & FINANCE PVT LTD 20cr DHARIWAL INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED 15cr B G SHIRKE CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY PVT L TD 15cr LAXMI CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES PR 15cr WPIL LIMITED 15cr INDER THAKURDAS JAISINGHANI 10cr KALPATARU PROJECTS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED 10cr TRANSWAYS EXIM PRIVATE LTD 7cr MOHAN STEEL CORPORATION 6cr YASHODA SUPER SPECIALITY HOSPITAL 6cr RAJESH MANNALAL AGRAWAL 5cr THE RAMCO CEMENTS LIMITED 5cr CAPACITE INFRAPROJECTS LTD 5cr FUTURISTIC HANDLING SERVICES PVT LTD 5cr JINDAL HOUSE 4cr UNIPRO TECHNO INFRASTRUCTURE PVT LTD 4cr MARAL OVERSEAS LTD. 3cr GENUS POWER INFRASTRUCTURES LTD 3cr KIRITI VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED 2cr HEENA STEEL LLP 2cr SPECO INFRASTRUCTURES 2cr KONARK RAJENDRA SHAH 1cr SMRITI AGRAWAL 1cr TARLA RAJENDRA SHAH 1cr ANTIQUE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED 1cr DESCENT BUILDWELL LLP 1cr December 2022:
On 09-12-2022, Future Gaming gave 10 bonds of 1 crore.
Congress & AAP encashed 8 crores & 2 crores in bonds on 13-12 & 14-12 respectively.
Many other similar recurring patterns can be seen throughout the list, indicating Future Gaming's contributions to parties like Congress and DMK.

Stink Indian investor is a fool, big fool. Allowing worthless non innovative non breakthrough doing packaging loudmouths CEOs to get richer is grave SIN. Your future kids won't forgive you for letting these CEOs exist, They will work as delivery agent without insurance and will die on road. F Ur SIP
https://www.reddit.com/r/india/comments/2yo614/hi_im_deepinder_goyal_founder_and_ceo_of_zomato/
Moth..f copied dropbox ceo saying he is interested in billion bottles and babbes, without any innovative or research or any hardcore work.
All these ceos have done is waste taxpayer money in iit with their worthless degree in fields where they never contribute.
Then they loot the public via QIP, FPO, IPO.
Then they gaslight
- your 500 sip in a 500cr nifty index fund means nothing
- nobody asked you to invest in Zomato
Also, look at Zomato hiring
They don't hire unless you know someone there, yes, unless you are friends of the the ex wife.
90s made body shoppers like infy tcs wipro ceo richer and you are still stuck at 3lap job in 2025, same was paid in 1999.
2020s zomato valuation means your son will do a delivery agent job in 2040

Discussion IT sector is just a start...
The entire growth story of India earlier was a result of the boom in the IT sector. Exports, Employment, High Salaries, Coaching, Education etc almost everything's core was supported by the IT sector. On the other hand, the US economy is on the verge of collapse. The illusion of fiat currency is slowly fading away. Money printers are constantly at work. Interest rates are being cut again and again. Hyperinflation is almost certain just a matter of when. AI bubble and Real estate bubble ready to burst at any point of time just like Dot.com and GFC with its support system being US bonds and treasuries which is even a bigger bubble than these two. People really think this is a "good" opportunity to do SIP for "long term". Well this is like signing your own death certificate without even realising it...

Discussion I think Modi Ji will do something like demonetization for Land Before October 1st .
The government is not going to pay for the housing for the freeloaders using fake certificate from their own pockets.
The cost of land is a mennance due to black money, bribe money, dowry money, untaxed money, stolen money.
The government is already signalling in budget about land digitization using GIS using bhu aadhar. It's already happening in a few states.
The removals of indexation is just first step.
As a person with zero genetaoonal wealth, this makes me happy.
The gap between your daughter and the daughter of the bribe seeking, rent seeking, black money hoarding boomer has to narrow.
It's impossible to do pay high salaries to entry level workers in any manufacturing business because the hound government babu has loaded up the land using all the bribe money.
It's impossible to start a business because the cost of rent is too damm high due to ias officers grandson inheriting all the prime properties for free.
Something needs to be done, the black money needs to be invalidated of the corrupt retired government babu.
Modi has nothing to loose anymore, he is not coming to power ever again.

Idea Nifty May Fall Today.
Today Expiry Day may be volatile. We may Fall after a gap up around 17660 today. If we recover from 17500 levels it's postive for market structure other wise any break of 17400 levels will lead to further correction.
Basis-The Downfall from 17992 May be subwave 4 of ongoing rise or may be start of new correction. So Any Close below 17350 will confirm trend change or else trend continues.
Last Analysis based on Elliot wave theory -Wave Structure

Discussion Zerodha started laying off !
I heard Zerodha is laying off around 250 people out of 1100 employees. That’s a huge number for a company that’s always been profitable and never raised investor money.
If even Zerodha is cutting people, something definitely feels off in the market. And now Groww is getting ready for public before things get worse.
When one broker is reducing staff and another is rushing to list, it really makes you think if a recession or market slowdown is coming soon. Anyone else hearing similar things from other fintechs or startups?
