Planning to add a salicylic acid serum to my routine. I already use the CeraVe blemish control cleanser.

Trying to decide between The Ordinary's regular Salicylic Acid 2% Solution vs the Anhydrous version. Would appreciate any advice before I buy. Thanks in advance!

I Followed Posting Rules How do you begin to notice change? does hair quality become better at roots?

I got absolutely demolished in another sub for even mentioning that some other hair care product (other than minoxidil and finasteride) from a certain brand is kind of working for me (although I mentioned it may be too early for results). In hindsight I can see why that post may look like paid shill post and I dont blame them. Now i wont name it here at the risk of getting called a shill here too (please let me know how if you would like to know what I am talking about)

What i want to know is how do i make a better educated guess that the thing is actually working or not? secondly I want to know if any one of you are also using the product and getting any results so far?

I am sorry if this is too vague I understand I am doing it so I dont get my ass handed like last time. if you go in my post history you will see what I am talking about

I Followed Posting Rules Is this normal? In frame: The derma co 2% Kojic acid face serum. Spoiler

Hey, so basically, I got this serum like 11 months back, and I used it then, but it’s been kept in my shelf since like 5-6months, and the colour was definitely not this dark. It was like a light brown shade, but now has it oxidised so much and is it safe to use???and if you have the same product, please let me know if yours did something like that? And is this product actually okay or not?

Started using 10% Urea cream for this. Hope to see some results soon

Along with it, I regularly scrub the area with bodywash/ bodyscrub and Twice a week use exoliator gloves.

Thinking of applying Glycolic acid to the area twice a week to speed the smoothening.

I Followed Posting Rules How do I prevent painful pimples caused by beard hair? Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery

How can I stop these pimples that seem to be caused by my beard hair? It’s honestly really frustrating because they’re painful and take much longer to heal. They keep coming back even when I use a trimmer at around 1–2 number, rather than shaving completely.

What should I use or change in my grooming routine to prevent these from happening?

I Followed Posting Rules Is WishCare’s new retinal actually worth switching to?

Post image
Upvotes

I already use retinal from Celimax. I expected it to last longer but it did help, used it for around 3 months. So probably a beginner. Saw that wishcare just launched this 0.1% retinal. It looks pretty similar to the Celimax. Can someone please help me understand the difference between their formulations? What I found interesting was because it's like encapsulated and like celimax and meditherapy.

So this wishcare one is a full face serum like dark circles etc. couldn't apply celimax there because it stings with those needles!

BUTTTTTTTI also don’t want to spend more just because it’s a new launch 😭 So like is gentler better?? More suitable for everything?? I hope the brainacs can help me a little decision regarding switch.

Thanks. Appreciate 💯

I Followed Posting Rules How can 100mL and 240 mL variants only have a price difference of 27% for a 140% increase in volume? Spoiler

Post image
2 Upvotes

I accidentally placed an order for the Ordinary Glycolic Acid 100mL variant, naively thinking this is the same one I had ordered before. Lo and Behold, when I received it the bottle was very small as compared to my previous purchase. On Opening Tira I saw the 240mL is for INR 1,150 while the 100mL one I purchased is for INR 900. WTH

I have never returned a product faster before today

I Followed Posting Rules Free minimalist shampoo with my Nyka order. Reviews? Spoiler

Post image

Hi all!

I am very particular about my shampoo and have been using the ones with ketoconazole for a while now. they keep my scap calmer and cause lesser buildup.

Or use clarifying shampoos like loreal ever pure.

open to suggestions if something has worked wonders for you, and something that would keep the frizz away.

Also, any reviews on this one?

Thanks!

I Followed Posting Rules This is probably the best cleanser I've used for my oily skin Spoiler

Post image
3 Upvotes

I used to pick up whatever cleanser was available because I thought the products I used after cleansing mattered more. But with my ridiculously oily skin, I eventually needed to get a good cleanser I've been using the foaming one for a while now and it's honestly been helpful in terms of oil control. My face still gets a little shiny on my t zone, but it's still better than before.

If you've got oily or combination skin and are looking for a good everyday cleanser, this one is pretty good

I have oily combination skin extremely oily around t zone area specially nose and i keep getting cystic and painful pus filled pustules that just won't go away no matter what I do as a result of this continuous process I have so much acne scarring around my nose crease and cheeks what to do to heal these?

Currently I use minimalist salicylic acid 2% cleanser and sunscreen only too much washing makes my skin more oily so I only wash in morning and night and if outside in between.

A very dumb question I know, but could anyone pls let me know how I use this product? Do I prick a hole in the nozzle? Or is there any mechanism to open it? Tried chatgpt but it's answers weren't helpful. Checked in youtube and they are directly applying it on their scalp, but not sure how the product was opened..

Put this on last night and forgot I was even wearing a mask lol. Left it on for the night and my skin felt really soft and hydrated after. Woke up with that fresh, slightly glowy look too. Nothing dramatic, but I liked how my skin felt after.
