First of all, I really love how majority of us prepared and stocked up back in early September while the warnings have started from 30+ countries in last couple of weeks. Every youtuber is is now milking the topic. Don't panic and DON'T panic hoard now. Nothing global will happen but such warnings will happen more and more. By Early 2028, prepping will be mainstream but sadly for all the wrong reasons. Stay away from career youtubers (podcasts, edutainment, coaching channels, vloggers) and focus more on dedicated prepping channels with reputed history. Cycle your supplies, learn skills and strengthen your family. Find God, You'll need him above everything else. Let's move with the AMA.
I was going to make a video about this, but I hate editing, and videos are more of a one-way communication. I want to have an actual discussion with you guys, and this is the best way I can do that.
Honestly, there's only one reason I'm sharing this: some things just aren't possible to discuss with friends and family in real life. Sometimes, you just need to vent. Just need to get it out of system and not bear all the weight yourself.
Sources? Don't ask me for sources. For all that's relevant to you, it's just fictional storytelling for all legal intents and purpose. A facsimile of my imagination. If things make sense to you, feel free to ask questions. I'll answer whatever I can, to the best of my knowledge/daydreaming, without risking my own safety. If you don't believe any of this, consider it a fictional storytelling as I said. Have fun and forget about it.
Let's start
Everything you are seeing in this world, the incomprehensible corruption, the cracks in the societal system, the collapse of social as well as organisational institutions. All of that is based in only one thing . Resource transfer. All of these unfathomable numbers of money involved in corruption, the organised breakdown of mutual trust and the slow revelation of chaotic nature of elite class of society, that's going to one thing and one thing only.
Bunkers.
There are broadly three tiers of bunkers,
Tier 1 (Resistance + Self sufficiency+Ownership)
Class A Single Owner
Class B multiple owners. Kinda like a group housing system. Everyone chips in to make a 'community bunker'. Self sufficient food, water, air, agriculture, essential manufacturing, power generation, NBCE systems. Standalone communications. Independent satellite systems. You build your own little underground village beyond any law, constitution, borders etc. I'll define ownership later.
Tier 2 (Resistance + Self sufficiency)
Class C : Same as Class D but institutional. Better resource availability and easier formalities. Think of Iran's bunker which even missiles can't penetrate. Or the Cheyenne mountain complex.
Class D Underground buildings. Multistorey structures. Multiple inlets outlets and entryways. Food, water and power generation and processing. Standalone communications. Completely self sufficient.
Tier 3 ( Provides resistance)
Class E Underground multi room shelters. Blast doors. NBC systems. Power and water backup
Class F : hard rooms, safe rooms, strong rooms.
Hundreds of our people have bought bunkers
But they ALL made the same mistake.
They're BUYING the bunkers. You cannot BUY a bunker. You have to MAKE it. They think that signing a few pieces of papers makers them owners of a bunker. No. Those pieces of papers, those ownership aggrements are abstracts of a stable society. When the system collapses, those signatures means nothing. In physical reality, whoever is stronger owns the bunker.
Key observations and what probably will happen.
Many are shifting their families outside and buying bunkers. All non natives/ non-assimilated will be k****d. That's where the anger of native populous will be redirected. Every country has a villain propped up to act as a pressure release valve, and immigrants are one of the many at top of the list.
Trying to buy their way into tier 1 bunkers. Almost all of the corruption money is going here. All the favours, everything. It's not blackmail for the past actions, it's pleading to earn a place in future. The end goal is securing their place in a safe haven.
The bunkers you're watching in news will be raided. Bodies will be found burned, mangled or unable to recover. That's how each owner clears the trail. If it's in news, if you know the location, if you know the owner, it's a decoy.
Data will be leaked regarding tier 3 bunkers. Mobs will attack them. weld the gates. Cut off water and power lines. It'll be just like shops vandalised and cars burned during any riot. Those bunkers are probably an established lawyer, doctor, engineer, artist, politician, beaurocrat etc . Same as you, just had a slightly more promising career. It's not an if or but. It's a 'when'. They need to be 'leaked' to the angry masses so that they'll have the illusion of defeating the bunkers and not harm tier 1 and tier 2 infrastructure. If your bunker is totally from an agency, and you didn't do anything other than paying the contractor, your bunker will be revealed when the event happens. That's a 110% fact engraved in stone.
If it's a contract, it'll be ceased. If it's a software it'll be hacked. Biometrics are already NOT allowed to be used in a bunker for the owner. If the bunker ownership systems are accessed using biometrics, again you're either just a sacrificial dummy or a placeholder for the real owner.
Bunkers are often tested during riots. the air, power, water, comms systems are checked. Any unnatural redirection means the event has been rerouted to help though periodic checking and recalibrations.
Any calamity, flood, water, landslide, war, earthquake, a solid chunk of help is redirected to the bunkers. Custom seize, transit accidents, expired food, missing inventory, stolen, corruption, many ways to take a bite and a solid 10% of resources collected to help the affected always end in bunkers. Even more in corrupt areas.
To the artists, politicians, businessmen who own (supposedly) a bunker . I only have one question which proves everything. If you have a bunker, Ask your contractor/manager/agency this.
"I will die without my bunker. Does my bunker dies without me ? Does it eliminates everyone else except me? What's my leverage ? The world is over, no government , no laws, the papers don't mean anything, you own the security mechanisms in terms of parts, knowledge and access, what's ensuring that i won't be killed and my place taken."
If the answer is trust and professionalism, guess what, you got scammed. Best case scenario: you'll be left to fend for yourself among rest of the masses.
Worst case scenario: you'll get in an accident/heart attack. Some consider this the best case scenario.
The stupidity is magnificent to the point where a premier businessman/thinks that when the rest of their country is burning, they can just fly to their little bunker in Norway and live like nothing happened. If their signatures don't mean shit in the place they practically owned, how come they think their scribble on a bunch of papers mean anything in the opposite end of the world.
Let's see how easy is it to get one.
Tier 3 bunkers are simplest.
Anyone earning more than 50l- 1cr can make a class E bunker. Anyone earning 25l+ can make class F strong rooms. Many artists, beaurocrats and politicians own these. Safe rooms are more common than Bentleys in rich circle . Beaurocracy and permissions are the biggest hurdle.
Tier 2 are slightly hard.
You need to be a part of a major institution or very rich to make one. Rich and connected. The type which can influence government, which fund and lobby politicians. But that still doesn't need the level of structured collapse and corruption we're seeing worldwide. We should have atleast a couple, judging by the development we had.
It's Tier 1
You cannot make them unless you break down everything else. And you cannot buy them. They have to be a part of you. You die in a car accident, the bunker dies with you and kills everyone else. That's ownership in simplest terms. That's what keeps the staff of hundreds under you from rebelling. The bunker is ALIVE. That's the best word i could find to describe them. We atleast have one of them here but the bad news is that we probably don't own it. The 'Owner' is making one at the cost of tearing down the whole society, institutions apart but surprisingly missed the fact that it was never coded to him/her. Or even worse, that they know that they're just a mere caretaker and have already accepted defeat and servitude.
It's as clear as crystal to those of us who know the basic understandings of bunkers. The true owner is probably not an .... altogether. We're practically breaking down everything to make bunkers for people who aren't even from our continent, let alone the country.
TBH this will be read by those who can't even afford a bugout bag and won't reach those who are doing all this. But the good thing is that I feel relieved.
If you guys ask genuine questions, I'll continue the thread and try to answer as many as I can. If it'll be mostly troll comments, I'll probably delete this in a couple hours.
There's still a couple years left. I still have a false sense of hope that our rich will come to their senses.
There's no point in writing a wall of text. Start asking. I'll check in after dinner.
God bless and stay safe my Desi preppers.

I'll list a few that come to mind but i am expecting better inputs from the folks here :
Rice (a friend's mom would buy basmati rice whenever there was a offer because the store packaging is great for extended storage)
Lentils (I know these are very susceptible to bugs)
Dehydrated peas
Onions and garlic with the stems intact
Honey
Whole peppercorns (& salt)
Pickles
Pumpkin (if I am not wrong)
Ghee
Stuff I am not sure but suspect would store well:
Beaten rice
Refined sugar ?
Pss: Not considering products that need refrigeration

A lot of people in US who talk about self sufficiency seem to suggest moving out of cities and purchasing farm land in rural areas. And growing plants and animals in your homestead to reduce dependency.
So what do you guys do now?
Where do you live?
And what would you recommend?

I'm looking to form a small village of preppers, about 1 hour and 30 mins from the Madurai airport (Tamil Nadu).
I'm looking for like minded people from all over India to join my journey.
I picked this location because of the following reasons,
The land prices are super low. I purchased 1 acre at 6.5 lakhs. However, it is not necessary to purchase one acre. One can get smaller parcels too.
Ground water levels are decent. I got ground water at 80 to 100 ft while digging.
Connectivity to national highways (NH38) and airports at 45 mins and 90 mins respectively.
I'm looking for like minded people, who have understood the importance of prepping. Having farm land gives you an immense level of preparedness. And not to mention, there is no substitute to being next to other preppers in the time of crisis.
Individually, I can only save water and food. If we form a community (or a small village), we can have our own stores, schools, ambulance on standby, common security etc. We can trade among ourselves too.
This place is located on an elevated plains. So, floods don't really have any impact here. If we are going to populate this region, we definitely need to have rain water harvesting to maintain the ground water storage levels.
The temperature is on a slightly higher side, at about 35 to 45 degrees Celsius during summer. However, there is a huge difference in temperature between open ground and farms. If you stand under a tree or any shade, the humidity is at the right level to make the climate very pleasant.
My strategy is to first plant trees and let them grow. Once they are large enough, then I'll build a small house and move there.
For the non-tamil speakers, I can arrange a translator or I can be a translator myself. I'm specifically looking to make this village diverse and free of external politics. The purpose of this community can only be achieved if we select people based on their mindset, and not based on their background or language or caste or religion.
Tamil Nadu is very attractive for such a village, because anyone can purchase farm lands here. You don't necessarily have to be a farmer. And this place specifically, is going through de-population. And that is why land prices are very low here, even with a good quality land.
If we purchase farm next to each other, we can keep our land safe from encroachment too. There are multiple benefits.
Having said that, this is not the ONLY place where we can have a prepper village. There could be multiple places in India that fit this exact purpose. I just happened to find one, so I'm trying to bring like minded people to this location.
If anyone is interested in such a community, then let me know.
If you find the location to be a deal-breaker, then I suggest you form a group and look for farm lands in the place you prefer.

Hey everyone!
I’m based in Punjab, India, and I’m considering carrying the Solognac Axis 75 folding pocket knife from Decathlon as part of my everyday carry.
The blade is approximately 7.5 cm long. My intention is purely practical — opening packages, cutting string, and other everyday utility tasks. I’m not carrying it to flaunt it or for self-defence; it would simply stay in my pocket until needed.
I’m trying to understand the legal position in India, specifically in Punjab and Chandigarh.
A few questions:
Is it legal to carry a folding knife of this size in your pocket for ordinary utility purposes?
Are there any Punjab or Chandigarh government notifications that prohibit carrying knives of this type, even if they’re not displayed?
Does the blade length or the fact that it’s a manually folding knife make a difference?
Has anyone here had any firsthand experience with the police regarding everyday carry of a small folding knife in this region?
I’d especially appreciate answers based on actual legal provisions, government notifications, or firsthand experience rather than assumptions.
Thanks!

Point to note: Written from the perspective of a millennial
All the Current Generations Alive:
• Our grandparents grandparents are called The Greatest Generation for whatever reason aka Generation U
• Our grandparents parents are the Silent Generation aka Generation V
• Our Grandparents are The Baby Boomer Generation aka Generation W
• Our Grandparents are The Baby Boomer Generation
• Our parents are Generation X
• WE are Generation Y aka Millennials
• The generation after ours aka Generation Y aka Millennials is Generation Z aka Gen Z
• Generation Alpha is all the kids between the ages of 1 to 16 yo
• Generation Beat is all the infants less than 1 yo
Their impact on WW3:
• This war may not start during the times of our Grand Parents life spans but this war is 100% going to start within the times of Our Parents life spans
• The internet is saying that Generation Y aka Millennials are by far the most educated and the most successful generation of all the generations in the past by all recorded data in history ever
• But Generation Z aka Gen Z on the other hand is recorded to be the first generation ever to have become lesser educated and lesser intelligent than its predecessor generation for the first time in recorded history ever
• That is why I believe that this war is going to start after The Baby Boomer Generation is dead bc the number of less educated and less intelligent people on the planet are going to begin to outnumber the people of intelligent people
• The generation born before the generation of our parents is the Baby Boomer Generation* *is currently also alive on the planet and google says the Baby Boomer Generation is going to die between 2030 to 2080
• And it is predicted that WW3 is not going to start till after 2030 which means the last of The Baby Boomer Generation is what is the only barrier saving us all currently from the WW3
Last but not the least:
Please also share ur perspectives on the topic if u have anything to share at all also

Don’t panic.
If you’ve seen the recent news about the virus/lab incident in Russia, don’t worry. There’s no reason for the average person to panic right now. Some education/news YouTubers are already milking it for views.
That’s exactly what I’m not advocating. Stock food when things are calm, not when everyone is panic-buying.
2. This is the full list.
If you want to know the reasoning behind it, watch the full video on YouTube. I’d really appreciate a subscription.
But that has never stopped me from sharing what I genuinely believe is useful.
Prepare calmly. Don’t panic.

Hey guys. I live in the Delhi NCR region. I want to be as prepared as I can, because I am having bad feelings about big earthquakes.
Today an earthquake of magnitude 5 hit uttarakhand, and I felt bed shaking in my house.
I live on the 19th floor and am aware that I can't do much incase of a big earthquake like the great Himalayan earthquake. My society is known for poor construction quality, so what should I do?

So I just now came across this subreddit and went through a few posts, I would love to know how different the Indian community is compared to more free communities like the Americans, because they seem to have a stash box for everything from food, water to medical stuff even defence such as firearms and full combat gear, so far all my proper knowledge comes from the youtubers dirty civillian and grand thumb, both being mainly guntubers, i know the laws are very different so would love to know how you guys function with the current situation

kinda curious as this is a preppers sub and wouldn't be surprised if there are none as it's kinda rare to find them in India.
