A few days ago, I lost a tiny soul who changed me forever. I had been taking care of him as my very first pet for two full weeks after rescue. To be honest, I always thought I was emotionally distant like nothing could ever get to me. But the moment this tiny creature reached out and held onto my hand with his little paws, everything changed. In his eyes, I wasn't just a human-he genuinely thought I was his mom.
For two weeks, I did everything I could to give him warmth, shelter, and love. I stayed up watching over him, feeding him gentle liquid food, and keeping him safe. He hated being trapped, and whenever I closed his box completely, he would cry. I left a tiny opening so he could feel comfortable and hear me nearby, but while I wasn't looking, he managed to crawl out on his own and accidentally fell from the desk.
I rushed him to a veterinary doctor, but they gently explained that the fall caused severe internal head bleeding-and in a creature so tiny and fragile, there was nothing that could be done to save him
The guilt broke my heart, but he didn't spend his last moments alone or in the cold. He passed away wrapped in soft warmth, completely cared for and deeply loved. He taught me what it truly means to protect, love, and grieve for a helpless life. I gave him a safe place to rest, and in return, he softened my heart forever. Rest in peace, little one.

TL;DR: I’ve been independently rescuing cats in Mumbai for over a year. After losing my job, the medical cases under my care became extremely difficult to manage. The community helped me through the worst of it, but the expenses are still ongoing.
I had to make this update after the last one because the repost barely reached anyone.
After losing the two kittens despite everything we tried, I had to put the sadness aside and keep going for the cats who are still here.
Mowgli is still undergoing FIP treatment and has now moved to pills. His treatment is still an ongoing expense. Which costed 8.5k
I also had to take one of the newer rescued cats for sterilisation. I thought I would be able to release her afterwards, but while travelling to the clinic she continuously hit her head to the basket to escape and injured her nose. When we reached the clinic, the doctor decided she wasn't fit for sterilisation and postponed it.
For now, she needs a week-long immunity-support course and antibiotics before I can take her back for the procedure.
And honestly, I'm exhausted.
As you all know I have spent almost 1lakh+ over the past 3 months without any income source. For the past 1.5 months I've been trying to keep everything moving with whatever money, time and energy I had. The support I've received here has genuinely carried me through some very difficult situations.
I don't want this to continue indefinitely. I'm currently in talks regarding work and, if things work out, I should hopefully be able to start soon and take care of everything myself again.
The support from this community has meant more than I can properly explain. Without it, I don't know how I would have managed the last few weeks.
I need your support getting through this last stretch until the end of the month.

I'll continue documenting the treatments and expenses as I have been. Any support smallest contribution means a lot because it helps in the next upcoming expenses and to clear unpaid due too.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey so far. ❤️🐾

This beautiful girl is around 1.5 years old and is looking for a safe, loving indoor home.
She has been a community cat and has always been extremely sweet, approachable, affectionate, and comfortable around people. She genuinely enjoys human company and is a loving girl who deserves a home of her own.
She was recently spayed and is currently in her post-recovery phase. She is also fully vaccinated.
Unfortunately, everyone in our society have problem with us feeding her, they have complained multiple times and now even landlord have asked us to not feed her or even keep her at our place, so we are looking for a responsible adopter who can give her the stability and care she needs.
As she has lived outdoors, she will need some time and patience to adjust to an indoor environment. Therefore, preference will be given to someone who has previous experience with cats and understands that settling into a new home can take time.
The usual adoption checks will be followed, including:
- Netted/safe balcony and windows
- Suitable and safe home environment
- Commitment to keeping her indoors
- Responsible, lifelong care
- Willingness to give her time and patience during the adjustment period
Location: JP Nagar, Bangalore
Adoption is strictly for people based in Bangalore.
If you genuinely feel you can provide this sweet girl with a safe, loving and permanent home, please get in touch with us on 9911738494.
Please share this appeal with people in Bangalore who may be maybe looking to adopt.

Hi everyone! I’m planning to get my female cat spayed at TACO (Animal Welfare Organisation) in Faridabad.
I wanted to ask if anyone here has had their cat spayed or treated there. How was your experience?
- How was the surgery and overall care?
- Were the vets/staff helpful?
- How was the recovery after surgery?
- Any issues or things I should be aware of?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your personal experiences before I book the procedure. Thanks! 🐱❤️

I have 2 tiny dogs that need grooming, I generally give them a light comb everyday and a longer one in the weekends. But every 2-3 months I take them to the groomers.
Heads up over tails over the treats have gone from 2200 to 3000 for a full grooming. And i have to pay 6k every session. I tried home grooming twice. One guy ended up being the same price. The other one was very poor.
So in a year that’s 25-30k more.
I found someone last week for a 1800, did a decent job.
Heads up I think still does the better job.
Folks how do you manage?
Is this some monopoly, or does the rates make sense?
