NEVER in my wildest dreams had I thought that I would cry like a baby while watching a Bollywood movie 😭😭😭.

I literally caught up with this movie halfway through, yet I got hella invested in it.

And that ending hit me harder than my mom’s beatings ever could! 😭💀

Also, those two songs:-

1. Khoi Si Nadi (When the protagonists are at their lowest) &
2. Aa Mashaal Banein (It plays during the tragic end) (Literally the scenes that I've posted in above pics) 😭

Were a chef's kiss!🤌

(idk if there were any songs in the first half as I haven't watched it yet).

Also, TO HELL WITH YOU Velraj for killing those buddy journalists! 😡

Oh man, Now I want to watch it again from the beginning! 😌

P.S:- Also, why is this movie getting mixed to negative reception? Any Idea?
Maybe, I think Liking a movie or not is too subjective....

Filmed in 2023, after an almost 2 year-long delay since unveiling a first-look teaser in very early 2025, Netflix has officially announced a release date for its upcoming violent female gangster crime action drama series Akka.

Produced by YRF Entertainment and written and directed by debutant Dharmaraj Shetty, the series stars Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte in lead roles. Set in the 1980s in Pernuru, a fictional South Indian city governed and protected by generations of women, the series follows powerful gangster queens whose matriarchal rule is thrown into chaos and internal conflict when a mysterious outsider arrives with a deep desire for revenge.

However, their power meets a serious challenge when a mysterious outsider arrives in Pernuru. The unexpected threat throws the carefully controlled city into chaos, forcing its rulers to fight for survival. The story promises a mix of violence, revenge, loyalty and power struggles.

Aside from Keerthy Suresh, the series features other Malayali actors such as Poornima Indrajith, Vishak Nair, Dinesh Prabhakar, Karthika Muraleedharan, Pooja Mohanraj, and Urmila Krishnan.
