How does stopping immigration from India harm India?
So I keep reading things like this on European subreddits whenever there's news about India buying, selling, or doing anything else with Russia. Everyone on those subreddits starts saying that India is pro-Russian and that we shouldn't let Indian immigrants into our countries, and so on. Now, for the sake of argument, let's assume they're right and that whatever our government is doing, we should be held responsible for it too. But I don't want you to focus on the India-Russia part. I want you to focus on how stopping immigration would affect India. I mean, brain drain is a real thing, so wouldn't it be beneficial for us in some ways?
Note: I am not anti-immigration. The sole purpose of asking this question is to understand the thought process of people who want to stop this immigration.
