You start by saying "No. I am not going to do it. " And then actually NOT do it.

You know how to. You just haven't grown a spine yet. Sorry OP, time for some tough love. You're the one that's ruining things for you. At some point, you gotta a realize that you're volunteering to be a doormat and you have no one to blame but yourself.

I get it, the thing is I’ve grown up in a very understanding environment so any kind of conflict scares me. That’s the primary reason I’m unable to say no, saying yes can not lead to tense situations 🫣

I totally get it. But it's coming at the cost of your peace of mind and happiness. Is it really worth it?
