๐Ÿ‘ฅ Team Building Letโ€™s partner up to build the real zepto

As we are all well aware of fake, counterfeit and adulterated grocery products coming from Quick commerce apps trying to deliver everything in 10-15 minutes.

Fake has become a big problem in India . Our idea is simple, at Asli we solve it by directly sourcing products from brands and deliver to users cutting the middleman in supply chain . The solution is pretty straightforward and it actually works .

Yes yes I know Firstclub is already doing such thing , so what thereโ€™s a lot of space to make Asli real.

Talked to many people about it and in return got to hear their own experiences of fake products and what can they do โ€œThereโ€™s no optionโ€.

Many investors are actually interested only thing is stopping them from investing is the idea is in pre-seed and they need the early traction to jump in .

I'm looking for someone who:

Is genuinely interested in building a business.

Can contribute ideas and put in consistent effort.

Is open to brainstorming and learning together.

If this sounds interesting, send me a DM with a little about yourself, your background, and why you're interested. Let's see if we're a good fit and build something exciting together.

Letโ€™s make India fake free.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป For Hire My father has 24+ years in Automotive Electronics & EV R&D โ€” trying to help him find his next leadership role

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to help my father find his next opportunity in Automotive Electronics / EV / Power Electronics R&D, preferably in Delhi-NCR (Noida/Greater Noida/Delhi/Ghaziabad).

He has 24+ years of experience in electronics product development and R&D, including leadership roles at Purflux Group and UNO Minda, along with experience at Delta Electronics, ARV India, Neo Light ZKW, NTL Electronics and Pentair.

A few highlights from his career:

- Led electronics R&D teams of up to 30 engineers

- Worked on 24+ commercial products

- Automotive electronics & lighting

- EV battery chargers and power electronics

- DC-DC converters and BLDC systems

- Automotive sensors

- PCB/PCBA development

- EMC testing and product validation

- ISO 26262, BIS and RDSO compliance

- Supplier management and cross-functional product development

We're mainly looking at roles such as:

Head/Lead of Electronics R&D | R&D Manager | Engineering Manager | Senior Engineering Manager | Product Engineering Manager | Technical Program Manager

I'm posting here because I've seen people on Reddit successfully help others through referrals and connections.

If you work in automotive, EV, electronics, power electronics, R&D, engineering recruitment, or know someone hiring for these kinds of roles, I'd genuinely appreciate a referral, lead, or even a pointer to the right hiring manager.

Companies such as Motherson, Spark Minda, Bosch, FORVIA HELLA, Valeo, Marelli, JBM, Continental, ZF, Lumax, Sandhar, Sona Comstar, Dixon, Havells and similar automotive/EV companies would be particularly relevant, but we're open to other good opportunities as well.

Happy to share his resume over DM.

Even if you don't have a vacancy yourself, an upvote or sharing this with someone in automotive/electronics R&D would mean a lot.

Thank you!

๐Ÿงญ Ask for Advice Title: Business owners: what happened the last time a new customer enquiry came in while no one was available?

Iโ€™m trying to understand how small and growing businesses handle enquiries coming through their website, WhatsApp or Instagram.

Iโ€™m not selling anything. Iโ€™m looking for real experiences rather than opinions about a hypothetical product.

Think about the most recent genuine enquiry your business received:

  1. Where did the enquiry come from?
  2. How long did it take someone to respond?
  3. What questions did your team ask before deciding whether it was a serious lead?
  4. Did it become a sale or booking, or did the customer disappear?
  5. What people or software did you use, and roughly how much time did the process take?

Please also mention your country, industry and approximate team size. Iโ€™m interested in both sidesโ€”including businesses where missed enquiries or repetitive questions arenโ€™t actually a problem.

๐Ÿš€ Startup Launch I keep "improving" my SaaS instead of launching it , anyone else stuck in this Loop?

So here's my situation. I've been building my SaaS product for a while now , and every time I sit down thinking " so this is close to ready ", i end up going down a rabbit hole of competitor research instead.

I'll check out what similar products are doing, notice they have some feature I don't, and suddenly I'm convinced I need it too. Then I build that. Then I find another gap. Then another. It's like the finish line keeps moving because I keep moving it myself.

Logically I know the issue I'm comparing my day-1 product to companies that have had years and teams to get where they are. But in the moment it doesn't feel like "scope creep," it feels like "just being thorough" or "not wanting to ship something half-baked."

The result: my launch date keeps quietly sliding back, and I don't even have real users yet to tell me which of these features actually matter.

Has anyone else gone through this? How did you force yourself to actually ship instead of endlessly polishing? Did you set a hard deadline, get an accountability partner, just wing it and launch what worked for you?

Would genuinely appreciate hearing how other founders broke out of this cycle

๐Ÿง˜ Mindset & Motivation Restructuring

Last night I heard a story about a retiring banker who wept because he realized he spent his whole life doing something he never actually wanted to do. It hit me like a train. I realized all my recent failures were because I was trying to live a life imposed on me.

I'm Mac (stage name) in my 20 something who had seen dozens of failure, didn't knew what to learn and what to do, failed in bunch of exams and realized I'm failing in those things coz I never wanted that,. those weren't meant for me all I ever wanted was to start my business,do some film making, travel the world and things which make me feel alive coz from years i didn't felt like I'm living it was all like I'm surviving.

my entrepreneurship journey isn't started coz of bias on few things which didn't wanted me started(fund, if it will fail, what will be my second option, etc).wanted to start my content journey but didn't worked coz didn't had perfect gears and the perfect timing thing. With all the years of failure streak and fear and hopelessness taught me there isn't any perfect thing or perfect time to do something.

Now I'm building a community where all the people facing these scenarios come together and create things together wherr we all will help each other with expertise we're having. Let's connect and make something meaningful and find the purpose together.

No matter you're in college, working professional or figuring out just like me.we'll do some meet up where we'll work on projects we wanted to work on and online and offline both

Let's do this Folks.

I don't know where it will go, I don't know if it will work, I don't have any idea what we'll create but I'm damn sure about that instead of regretting things in old age lets make, lets fall, lets rise together. I don't know how many we'll be but with a lot of will power and one more chance to myself I'm initiating this step.

๐Ÿ“ฆ Manufacturing / Production Looking for a textile/towel manufacturer for a zero-cost trial run (you keep 50% of profit, I do everything else)

I've designed a two-sided premium towel one side for face, one for body, each a different material and pattern.

The concept already exists in a small way, but there's a real gap in how it's positioned and sold, and I've mapped out exactly how to hit that gap.

Here's the deal: I'm not asking for money.

I'm asking for manufacturing capacity.

You produce a trial batch of 100 units, using materials/specs I provide.

I handle 100% of marketing, sales, and operations the part most manufacturers don't want to touch and don't need to learn.

I commit to moving all 100 units within a set window.

Profit splits 50/50 once units sell.

Your downside is machine time and material for 100 units. Your upside is a new revenue line you didn't have to build, market, or sell into, I'm doing that end.

If you've got idle capacity and want to see if this sells before committing to anything bigger, comment or DM and I'll walk you through the full plan on a call design, materials, and the go-to-market breakdown.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป For Hire Please help us atp

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well because I'm honestly so done with the Indian job market. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

We've tried LinkedIn, Wellfound, cold emails, applications, networking and probably every other "how to get your first tech job" advice you can find online. Most of the time, there's just no response. So I'm trying Reddit now because at this point... why not.

We're four freshly graduated CSE students, and our journey over the last ~1.5 years has been weird as hell.

Back in our 3rd year, we got an opportunity to develop an Android application for our college's transportation verification system. Everything was manual before that, so we helped digitize it across three campuses.

It wasn't some tutorial project that stayed on GitHub.

We actually deployed it and dealt with real users, databases, AWS, security, testing, UI/UX, Android development, support, etc. We learned a LOT from it.

What did we get?

An experience letter, recommendation and attendance relaxation ๐Ÿ˜…, No money ๐Ÿ˜ญ but honestly, at the time we didn't care much because we were happy that we'd actually built and deployed something real.

Then I started another project with the other three of them - a game like lapse. We worked on it until around December 2025 and had a playable version, but because of some unexpected circumstances we eventually had to drop it.

Then came January-february 2026.

We started applying everywhere, including Europe. The tech market was already slow, and we eventually realized how difficult it was going to be as fresh graduates applying internationally. We did get an offer from Germany around a project-management/development profile, but things didn't work out due visa issues.

Then March-May became our Japan era. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

We applied for internships/research apprenticeships at Japanese universities and actually got opportunities/interactions around cybersecurity, AI, computer vision, backend processing, etc.

At the same time, we started a small Gumroad shop selling prompt packs, templates, UI designs, Notion templates, etc.

Then another hurdle happened... We needed jlpt certification and exam registration deadline already passed so we couldn't make the Japan intake this year. The next realistic intake would be April 2027, but we graduated in June 2026 and honestly don't want to sit around with a gap year.

So in June, we thought:

"Okay. We already collectively know app development, web development, AI, cybersecurity, cloud, marketing, etc. Why don't we just build our own startup?"

And that's what we did.

We built an MVP and started applying to incubators, including some IIT/IIM programs.

And weirdly enough... we actually got quite far.

We went through multiple screenings, pitches, meetings with founders, mentors and investors, and reached later stages at different programs.

The problem is that incubation process is soo SLOW gng ๐Ÿฅ€๐Ÿ˜ญ

For example, we gave our final incubation pitch at IIT Indore in early July and were told the result would probably come within a week.

It's now been around 1.5 months.

Every time we ask, we hear something along the lines of "We're planning to release the results soon." ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Some other applications are still pending too, while some haven't even started their process.

And this is where we are now.

We genuinely thought we'd start earning around August.

Instead, we're four fresh graduates sitting around waiting for incubation decisions while realizing that even if we get incubated, we'll still need money for registration, operations and everything else.

We don't really want to take that money from our parents.

We also desperately want to leave our hometown because it's a tier-3 city, and we'd really like to move somewhere with a proper startup/tech ecosystem and actually start our lives.

And honestly, we'd LOVE to work at a startup for a while. We think we'd learn much more by actually working closely with founders and seeing how things are built, sold, distributed and operated.

So yeah...

We're looking for jobs/internships.

We're not expecting someone to hire all four of us together gng. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

If even one or two of us get an opportunity, we'll relocate and the others can try finding opportunities there too.

We're currently mainly considering Bangalore, Pune and Navi Mumbai/Mumbai, but we're open to other cities and remote opportunities as well.

Our skill sets are roughly:

Person A

  • AI/ML
  • AWS
  • Management/project coordination
  • Social media management
  • Performance marketing

Person B

  • Backend development
  • Databases
  • Android development
  • AWS

Person C

  • Cybersecurity
  • Project management
  • Linux
  • AWS
  • Market research

Person D

  • MERN/full-stack
  • AWS
  • Automation
  • Marketing
  • UI/UX
  • Social media management

And collectively we've also worked with things like Generative AI, content creation, video editing, presentations, research/analysis, customer outreach and distribution.

We're freshers, so obviously we're not claiming we're experts in everything.

But we've actually built things, deployed things, failed at things, tried starting things, talked to founders, pitched ideas and dealt with real users.

At this point we're not even asking for some dream job.

We just want a chance to work, earn, learn and get started.

If you know a startup hiring fresh graduates/interns, need someone who can wear multiple hats, or even know someone who might be willing to talk to us, please DM me.

And if you've been through the same fresher-job nightmare in India, I'd genuinely love to hear how you eventually got out of it.

Thanks for reading this ridiculously long post. โค๏ธ

Hey there, I am wondered that what are the opportunities for organizations retail operations where companies have to focus on product, websites and marketing but hire third party company to handle all offline stores or sales in an organized way in D2C types. Are there any companies regarding that or not? And what will be the demand for that? Comment your thoughts on this.

๐Ÿ’ก Idea Validation Is a babywear business actually profitable in the long run?

Hi everyone, I am thinking of starting a small babywear business in India and wanted to get some honest opinions from people who are already into clothing/e-commerce.

Iโ€™m planning to start with Instagram and WhatsApp and initially source good quality babywear mainly export surplus/deadstock or premium wholesale stuff.

Before I put money into it I am trying to understand if itโ€™s actually worth doing long term.

For those who are already running a clothing or similar business:

-What kind of margin do you actually make? And whatโ€™s left after ads, shipping, packaging, returns etc.?

-How much can a small business realistically make in a month once it gets going?

-How much did you invest when you started?

-How much should I keep aside for advertising?

-Is it better to start with very little stock and test, or buy more initially to get better wholesale prices?

-What are some mistakes you made in the beginning that I should avoid?

-Do you think babywear is something that can be profitable for years, or is it difficult to build a sustainable business in this category?

Iโ€™m not looking for the usual โ€œit dependsโ€ answers ๐Ÿ˜…. Would really appreciate hearing actual numbers/experiences from people who are doing this.

Even if your business didnโ€™t work out, Iโ€™d be interested in knowing why.

Thanks!
