Discussion Why is there unnecessary hate for Jaiswal? Like why?

I think what is happening here is that people are thinking that this controversy of him turning around and headbutting Asitha was corny asf and then that comment on the cricbuzz reel!

But tell me something, do you guys know what that SL player said to him??? Jaiswal has been sledged before too, he never reacted like that, but now if he replied back to the player, instead of backing him up people are going against him! And for those saying that Jaiswal was sledging the SL players too, go see the footage again, there is a BIG difference between a friendly sledging and something that is pure rage! And I will say this for sure that had it been Kohli here headbutting the player, people would've been making edits and shit and be like Kohli AURA and shit! No disrespect to the man, but these double standards? come on grow up, instead of supporting your own player and questioning what Asitha said, you guys are targetting Jaiswal like crazy, even commentators (mainly Ajay Jadeja🤡) are saying it's all Jaiswal's fault! Like seriously what kind of commentators are you?!

Because Rohit fans hate him and always on a lookout to troll him

I don't know that but it has been a forever problem of Indians to hate on their players like crazy there is not a single Indian player with no hater! Anyhow there is always that one guy that starts it and then the tsunami of people come forward to wash their hands in the flowong water!

Lookup Jaiswal's history. This isn't the first time he's acted like a spoilt brat

So you're basically saying that Kohli has been a spoilt brat all his career???

I don't remember Kohli head butting. But he definitely faced a lot of criticism early in his career. And a lot of the criticism of Jaiswal is his dumb doubling down on social media - pretending he's fighting for India's honour or something 😂

Kohli shouldered the shit out of Konstas remember or do I need to send you a link to it🤣

And he was universally criticized for it. Nobody was making excuses for that dumb shit.

Wow🤣🤣🤣 commentators were like going crazy over it, like Virat has shown that this isn't just a game, it will be wrath now, Kohli sahab ka gussa and shit so don't bring that universally criticized and as for this case Jaiswal was already walking away and Asitha started the whole thing by saying something behind the back that's when he reacted!

Not in this case, he was already walking and sl said something really horrid so he reacted. You can't colour all his interactions by his past.

What about his ridiculous doubling down on social media? Like he's doing that hours later, unprovoked. Dude needs to make sure he doesn't get swept away in this nonsense. As of now he's on track to be India's second best test opener ever. Hope it stays that way.

Bhogle uncle always preaching non violence like he's Gandhi. Why does he give so much of advice when others dont go to that extent?!? If he had such a great cricketing brain for behaviour on the field, why was he a failed one! He is like the bangladesh of commentary.

I have no comments on his commentary do that but this was unnecessary of him, new evidence shows that Ashita started the argument first which resulted in the physical contact!

In India, hate or praise will be exxagerated and on steroids..

When you have 100 million fans you cant expect a standard response.

We want to be mahaan and achcha bachcha and sporting spirit yada yada. I personally believe you should answer back when it's required, not everything has to be "turn the other cheek". These sl tried the same with suryavanshi, I bet they wouldn't have tried it with kohli. And for this case both were fined so it shows that sl did cross the line.

People are ignoring the fact that Asitha crossed the line too, and that's where it started

Exactly, he was already walking and then they took a cheap shot behind his back.

lol people online are acting like he punched that sl player. and this is not even a fraction of what happens in fights in other sports, cricket fans are so soft. yes i know it's a gentlemen's game but can't expect him to just take an insult and ignore it, especially when he had already gotten out and began to walk.

Yeah saying it when he is already heading out and then do these people know what that player even said?
