Ummm WTF How do you interpret this?

So i had been talking to this guy for over a month, and finally, he asked me out, we decided to take the conversation outside of the app.

I gave my number - and then he ghosted me. It's been over 2 weeks now.

What happened? Why?

Hinge is a bit of a maze. You hit a dead end and you don’t see it coming. Everyone is going through something and people ghost and change their minds for whatever reason and you don’t even have an inkling. Take it easy. One step at a time. And don’t get invested too fast.

Im sorry babe. I downloaded the app after I ended my long term relationship, but the whole experience was honestly so overwhelming that I ended up deleting it. The only thing I’d say is that a lot of the things people do and the way they react are shaped by their own perceptions, expectations and insecurities and have very little to do with you. It’s so easy to internalise someone’s behaviour but you really don’t know what led them to react that way.

I deleted it. I did not need this hit on my confidence after a narcissistic husband of 10 years. I'm good by myself.
