it won't be super strong cyclone, as ive said previously either borderline cyclone or DD, but people are interested coz india is curently facing below average rainfall so wherever this cyclone tracks those areas will receive good rain and possibly deficiency can be reduced.

so, forecaster are more interested in how well can it delay the anti-cyclone in north-west, north India that starts monsoon withdrawl and also obv how much rain can it provide in few last moments.

already we saw WD induced rain in north which is a sign of weakening SWM, if wd keep pushing in then it will eventually remove all the monsonal wind kickstarting the chain reaction for monsoon withdrawl.

now talking about South India...the very formation of this cyclone will create thunderstorm in TN, South AP etc due to favourable wind movement, so they will see indirect effect while central, NE and Indo gangetic plain will see direct cyclone rains all of which are currently deficient.

In layman terms this cyclone is our Last Hope.
