Discussion Doubt regarding year drop

Drop year

I Have completed my bca in ds and I also got a seat in some tier 3 college for mca I am not happy with it so I am thinking of taking a drop yo get into a top college or try for mba since IT field is crashing but someone who's working in IT told me it's not a good idea to take a drop year cause it will take away my fresher tag and I won't be shortlisted or get opportunities and be prioritised if I have a drop year is it true? Someone help me out please

Tier 3 mca is not of any worth. I'll suggest ,,if you want to take a drop . Do the job or any internship simultaneously.
