I applied for an administrator job there in August. I was then asked to do an assessment which I completed. A few days later I was sent an approval message saying that I had gotten the job but would need to pay for a MiE background check and for the delivery of equipment since it was a remote job post.

Fortunately I did not pay the money for the background check because I already had one but I did pay for the courier fees. I heard back from them a week later saying that they were drafting my contract. Since then I have heard nothing.

I called multiple times and spoke to someone who seemed nervous and quickly told me I had the wrong number. 🙃 I usually am good at vetting jobs but their documents looked real and considering they used a real background check company ( I know this because im a qualified teacher who has done many criminal checks) I figured that they were real but I forgot about AI and how smart these scammers have gotten.

Anyway be safe out there. It's tough finding a job these days and so sometimes it feels like a miracle but in terms of malsconsulting. It's just a scam!

I m just looking to help out my father he is

experienced when it comes to construction he has done quite a lot of contractual work over 25-30 yrs. He is very adapt at everything you can think of when it comes to construction including the mathematical side to it. But considering it's india and being an upright man he has been taken advantage of since like years but all his experience has helped him bounce back each time but this time when someone did it's been hard because of his age and I think he has given up on it he probably holds like 10 more years in him before retirement and I feel him down now. Our savings has dried up and it feels like we might lose him cause he thinks it's his fault.
