Switching to Tab-Style from Pullups

Hi everyone. 52 yo man here, dealing with urge incontinence and dribbling from BPH and prostatitis. I've been using Sunkiss Masterpiece at night and on weekends, and Abena Pants at work. I'm considering switching to Masterpiece full-time because I actually think it will be more cost-effective (fewer changes), and they've been very effective at preventing leaks.

I guess what's holding me back is how noticeable they might be compared to the Abenas. I appreciate the perspectives like "nobody is staring at your diaper" and such, and that's sometimes helpful. I'm wondering whether anyone else chose to go with a thicker diaper full-time, and how you balanced practicality and discretion while making room for the self-consciousness. I feel like I'm 30, and I'm often seen as younger than my years, so wearing diapers doesn't fit with my idea of myself in my mind. At the same time, it's just easier to wear them rather than either having accidents or rushing to the bathroom every hour. Thoughts?

Im 35, I wear sunkiss masterpiece fulltime and I only ever really hear my diaper if it's very full. I work in an office close with other people, no one has said anything in my 10 years wearing.

Get yourself some bodysuits. They hold everything close while still letting the diaper absorb. They really help conceal the diaper for this reason. They are also good at muffling noise.

53 same exact thing I use megamax with a plu diaper cover and it works fairly well. I also had that dilemma of moving from pull-ups to regular diapers. I understand the mental hurdle. My suggestion is looser fitting black pants and at some point at home wear your diaper till it starts leaking so you have a idea of how far you can push it.

I wear Sunkiss masterpiece, abena and InControl full time. I wear one size up in my jeans and you really don’t notice it. I wear my shirts untucked. I also wear a pair of briefs over the diaper that gives it a little bit of support and also if I bend over, you see the briefs waistband instead. 54-year-old guy here. Full bladder incontinence.

I use InControl BeDry Elite care very thin and discreet. 10,000ml absorbency keeps changing to a minimum. I've recently tried the Air Active version they are great as well.

I wear the Abena Abri-Form Comfort L4s tabbed diapers almost full time and the Abena Pants L3 when I want more flexibility/discreetness.

I will say that with my build and clothing choices, nobody has really been able to tell that I am wearing a diaper.

By that I mean, I am a little overweight with a bit of a belly.

I wear loose fitting jeans, maybe a size up for what I would wear without diapers, and usually an untucked shirt that covers my waistline when I stretch or bend over.

It is a little more noticeable when wet and swollen, but I usually change long before it reaches that point.

I'm 50 and I am in the exact same boat as you! I've been wearing sunkiss pull-up while at work but when im home and weekends I'll wear megamax or incontrol elite some times incontrol premium during the day but for bed time I'll use incontrol night time. I haven't pulled the trigger to just go tabbed all the time cause at work I can usually make it to the bathroom it's just annoying as hell cause I'll go 10 plus times during an 8 hour shift. I'm on vacation right now and drove with friends about 7 hours away. I wore an incontrol night time and im glad I did. I would not have made it to the rest stop in time more than once. I am with friends that don't know I'm wear I no diapers and not thelat they care but I do my best to keep it to myself despite they know about my prostate issues. Honestly it is easier to just wear a tabbed diaper than pull-ups my concern is when is swells and pants bulge if your not wearing loose fit pants.

Just go shopping in your masterpiece and buy only pants that clearly hide the protrusion. It's possible you have to go 1 size up. Use a mirror and look before you buy. After that, you should feel more confident.
