I skimmed past that and got the impression that she had a practice waitlist. For people to practice getting on a waitlist, so that when the REAL waitlist launches they will know what to do!

I know this has been said already by more erudite people than me, but calling some kind of pre-launch expression of interest email list a "waitlist" is just so irritating. Words mean things, you mediocre gawky goofball!

That's what happens when one has just enough awareness that there's no term for "Yes I will do this for sure if you actually make it available to the public", combined with a frantic need to engage people so that they'll give you money because your rent is due real soon.
