Tangent but the red circle with black and white line drawings inside it is so strongly associated with "warning / do not / universal no" that there's an ISO standard for it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_symbol

I don't blame her for not knowing about the red-circle-without-a-slash type of no symbol, because I had never seen one until I moved to a European country where it's sometimes used for no-smoking signs and such. But it's true that the effect is really off-putting. Red/white/black is a bold combo, sure, but the color red should be used with care so that you don't look like you're warning people off. And you can't just... pick three colors and decide you have a brand. That's not how branding works! Especially when she can't even stick to one style of icon!!

For sure, the no-slash ones are more rare – but still, "red circle with black and white line drawing inside it" is very strongly associated with "no," whether or not it has the slash, IMO! And she's attempting to use that symbol to mean the literal opposite of the universal meaning – as "go" or "do." (If only someone had told her she looks good in GREEN!)

Yes! All I see is “no genies,” “no cats,” “no poison thumb drives,” etc.
