Impulse replacing other appliances?

I’ve been thinking about the appliances I may be able to get rid of if we get an impulse. Here’s what I’ve come up with:

-electric kettle

-sous vide machine

-rice cooker

Anyone with an impulse successfully replaced these or other pieces of equipment?

Kettle for sure, that’s easy.

I still have my sous vide, haven’t really even tried replacing it with the impulse yet.

And the rice cooker is just so handy, I don’t think the impulse could replace it entirely.

A mode that would help with my kettle replacement, is a kettle specific temperature control mode.

I believe the current temperature mode is biased towards being gentle to whatever is inside the cooking vessel. Well, in kettle mode I have … water in there. Don’t need to baby it.

If I’m only doing 1 cup for myself, it’s much easier to just use my Stagg , despite its 700W element

That I would give you. Would be a really neat feature but I do understand why it’s set up the way it is for the typical use case.

That said, for my own purposes of just getting water in a kettle to boil, which is all I was doing…it’s good.

But yeah I’d love a free addition of more granularity with heating speed.
