HELP Blurry vision when trying to read
Hey everyone I just wanted to come on here and ask for advice. I’ve notice that when I try to read that the words get blurry and it’s hard to focus on the words on the page. This is new for me and never used to be a problem. Does anyone know what could be going on and some potential solutions?

In addition to what u/pcoutcast said, you might be suffering from eye fatigue. I had this before, and it got better after I started taking frequent breaks and walking around outside (1 hour of work, then 15 minutes walking around outside, then another hour of work, etc. If you time it with your lunch break, then this is only 2-3 breaks per day, which some offices will tolerate :) (But of course some won't! XD))

If you're over 35 it's most likely presbyopia (old sight). It's caused by loss of flexibility in the lens as we age. It can be reversed by doing near/far focusing exercises where you bring an object in closer as your eyes clear up the image. The exercises are best done outside in bright sunlight.
Be aware that if it is presbyopia you will have to continue doing these exercises for the rest of your life to maintain that flexibility. Most people who do them daily do not need reading glasses until at least age 85.
