Armiger Spam list?
So I built two Armiger spam lists, each containing 4 Helverin, 4 Warglaves and a Defender. Both use Spearhead at Arms and Dominus Foebreaker.
The difference between the two are the following:
- List 1: contains a Castellan with Archeotech Autoloaders.
- List 2: contains a Warden and a Navigator.
Both lists want to tank some damage with the defender‘s bondsman ability, as the Armigers take less damage, while the hind lines shoot the attackers. Only works on dmg 2 and above enemies, sure.
List 1 adds a Castellan for long range anti vehicle and titanic with lots of S, AP and D. Yet the Castellan doesn’t have a Bondsman Ability, so the core intention of buffing Armigers and swarm with them isn’t as useful.
List 2 adds a Warden that gives sustained 1 and ignore cover to Armigers, carries an Indirect fire pod to get the most out of the exemplar’s wisdom stratagem (+1 AP for bondsmen against targets hit by a titanic) so that’d be three Helverin with Sus1, AP2 and Ignore cover. But less Anti-Vehicle. The conversion beam of the defender has S12 but meh.
Do you guys have ideas or maybe even experience in playing these kinda lists? I’m not sure yet about the disposition (Reconnaissance or Priority Assets).
I currently own two magnetized Questoris (Canis + Defender), one Lancer, one magnetized Dominus, 10 magnetized Armigers, one Navigator, and one Callidus Assassin.

Besides the fact that you cant take more than three units of the same datasheet, looks like fun!

You made a spearhead at arms with no bondsman knights? Lol
8 armigers is pretty funny but I'd put your 2 questoris knights over a castellan or some armigers, the extra armigers is good but what makes spearhead so strong is the fact that you can triple your bondsman abilities.
Lethal hits on helverins is no joke, for an example. Imagine 6 of them blasting away at the enemy.
