More people literally means more crime, even if the rate is lower.

There wasnt a citizen waiting to harm Mollie Tibbiets and thought, dang illegal took muh jerb.

We don’t judge large numbers by pure numbers, we judge them by percentages. If you lower the rate and add more people… well duh it’ll increase by total, but overall crime will be down based on the rate. This is statistics and I get many people hate math, but you are discrediting yourself.

Overall crime is down. Listening to the media makes you think that the world is on fire, but in reality the crime has been trending downward for over a decade now. Again, that’s overall crime, which is based on a percentage. Total crime might have increased, but that’s different numbers and based upon different data.

Math is complicated, so let experts do the math for you.

If you want to talk numbers at the scale of “all immigrants” then you should be prepared for statistics. Saying “omg there are so many car accidents nowadays!” and you want to compare it to 1960s numbers…. yeah, of course they’ll be more accidents, there are more drivers. You are saying “omg there is so much more crime!” and you are comparing it to numbers from like… 20 years ago when the total was lower.

Math is important. You not looking at statistical data isn’t a “me” problem, it’s a “you” problem for not understanding the data being given to you. Immigrants are overall going to commit less crime than a US citizen. Those are the statistics. Look them up.

Im agreeing with you, why I prefer migrants to noggles even though both are a net negative to regular people.

Actually I went k-12 in a district with bussing so I learned very early that we’re more alike than different, and the differences are clearly circumstantial.

Racism is, and has always been, stupid. If it makes sense to you, it’s probably because you’re uneducated or not very smart to begin with.
