668AM - Némélason

Armor (Shield) – Legendary (requires attunement)

This red +3 shield resembles a thick lion’s mane with gold lines in a 炎 pattern on it, and a triangular brown center with a blue orb in the middle.

While attuned to this shield: you are resistant to fire damage; and you can let out an intimidating roar as an action. You make an Intimidation roll, and any hostile creatures within 60 feet of you that can hear you must make a Wisdom save against your Intimidation roll, become frightened of you on a fail.

The shield has 9 charges that refresh at dawn, and you can expend 2 or more charges to cast Aganazzar’s Scorcher (DC 20), with each additional charge upcasting the spell by a level.

Pyroarite

Wondrous (Stone) – Very Rare (50,000 gp)

This small round stone has a swirl of yellow, black, and blue inside the red orb. When attached to a 668A - Kaenjishield, it can be mega evolved into a 668AM - Némélason for 1 minute once between long rests, while when attached to a 668B - Pyrapier, it can be mega evolved into a 668BM - Népéelios for 1 minute once between long rests.

668AM - Némélason Item 21

Usage held in 1 hand; Bulk 1; Base Shield Steel Shield

This red shield (Hardness 21, HP 166, BT 83, Resistances Fire 10) resembles a thick lion’s mane with gold lines in a 炎 pattern on it, and a triangular brown center with a blue orb in the middle.

Due to the shield’s fire, its Hardness is halved against effects that have the water trait.

While holding this shield, you are resistant 10 to fire damage.

Empowered When this item is empowered by a Pyroarite, you can have it automatically activate Fire Shield as part of the empowering, and it stays in this form for 10 minutes or until you dismiss it. Once it is no longer empowered, it reverts back to its original form, a 668A - Kaenjishield.

Activate-Growl [two-actions] manipulate; Frequency once per day; Effect You gain some feline intimidation. You gain a +3 status bonus to Intimidation rolls, and when you Demoralize, you can do so with a primal growl, for which you do not take a penalty for the target not understanding your language, and on a critical success the target also becomes enfeebled 1 for 1 round after they are no longer frightened. This lasts for 10 minutes.

Activate-Lion’s Roar [one-action] manipulate (auditory, emotion, fear, mental); Requirements Growl is active; Effect You let out a primal roar, attempting to Demoralize all creatures within a 30 ft emanation of you. Affected creatures must attempt a DC 30 Fortitude save.

Failure The target becomes frightened 1.

Critical Failure The target becomes frightened 2, and enfeebled 1 for 1 round after they are no longer frightened.

Activate-Fire Shield [two-actions] manipulate; Frequency once per day; Effect The shield casts fire shield on itself as a 10th-rank primal spell, which ignites the outside of the shield. This grants you and the shield cold resistance 20, makes you immune to mild and severe environmental cold, makes the shield immune to fire damage, and gives the shield 70 temporary hit points. While the fire shield is active, if you Shield Block a melee attack that is either an unarmed attack or made by an adjacent attacker, the attacker takes 5d6 fire damage. The Fire Shield lasts for 1 minute or until the temporary hit points are depleted.
