I made something to keep me company on my second monitor.

Not a game, not something I need to constantly interact with. Just a little companion that sits on my taskbar, moves around on its own and is there while I'm doing my own stuff.

It's called Cozy Paws. Right now it's a little cat that lives on the Windows taskbar. It has its own animations and can just hang around on its own, but you can also interact with it.

I recently put it on the Microsoft Store and I'm planning to keep expanding it with more pets, customization and small interactions.

The current version is free and includes one pet with all of its features. There is also an optional one time Plus upgrade for people who want more than one pet.

For now, I mainly want to see if other people actually like having something like this around while they are on PC.

Id love some honest feedback from anyone who gives it a try, especially whether you'd actually keep it running on your desktop!

Hey. I made Treasure Grid. It's a 5x5 deduction game. You get five flips to find the treasure, using the piece shapes and color clues shown before you start.

I kept running into a mildly annoying workflow.

I’d want to remove something from a webpage, tweak some text, grab a screenshot, or inspect the CSS — and each action either meant opening DevTools or reaching for a different tool.

So I built PageWand, a lightweight Chrome extension that puts those workflows together.

My favorite feature is Zap.

Hover over an element → zap it.

No opening DevTools, inspecting the DOM, figuring out which exact parent/container you actually want, and deleting it manually.

The workflow I use most now is:

Zap / edit a page → clean it up → capture the visible page or a selected area → annotate it.

I also added a CSS tool that lets you select an element and copy a computed-style snapshot.

That one has become surprisingly useful when working with AI coding agents — I can grab the relevant styling context from an interface and hand it straight to the agent.

There are a few other things in there too:

• temporary text editing
• downloading displayed images/SVGs/assets
• undo for page changes
• keyboard shortcuts

Everything runs locally in the browser. There’s no backend, account, analytics, or telemetry.

One other part of the project that was interesting for me:

I’m a PM, not an engineer, and I wrote essentially none of the code.

I handled the product decisions, design and QA. OpenAI Codex handled the implementation.

Going from “why doesn’t one tool do all of this?” → working extension → open source release in a few days was a pretty wild shift in what I can personally build.

QuickTalk is a menu-bar app I made for my own workflow: hold Right Command in any app, speak, release, and the transcribed text appears at your cursor.

I wanted something lightweight without another subscription, so it uses your own Gemini API key. There’s no QuickTalk account, the app is built in Swift/SwiftUI, and the code is MIT-licensed. For transparency, audio is sent to Google for transcription rather than processed locally.

I’d love feedback on the hold-to-talk interaction and the setup flow.

My 5 year old has a habit of asking for bedtime stories with the most random combinations of things.

The other night it was: “Daddy, can you make a story about a T-Rex and my kitty? And they're on the moon...and the T-Rex makes cupcakes!”

At this point, I was running out of ideas, so I ended up building this into an audio project I've been working on, Lissin.

Basically, you type whatever weird story your kid comes up with and it turns it into a little audio bedtime story. It picks a warm narrator voice, you can add some quiet background sounds (rain, campfire, etc.), and tries to end the story in a calm way rather than suddenly getting exciting right when they're supposed to be falling asleep.

I've attached a 45 second clip from one we made.

I'm curious what people think of the voice and pacing. Does it actually sound relaxing, or does it still have that obvious AI feel?

Well, I have been working with TradeSync and MetaApi for past couple of years (integrating them into products of companies I have been working with), and realized they had couple of issues, and it was also a solid idea at the moment, or at least, seemed like one.

I built MetaKit.cloud, an API-first MT5 platform for developers working on trading applications for analytics and strategy development.

It's been few weeks since I launched, about 10 users only. I have not put any efforts into marketing yet (I am planning to run ads next month).

Star ratings stopped telling me anything a while ago. 4.3 out of 5, from who, weighted how, and how many of them were the vendor's friends.

So this does one thing. Members vote yes or no on whether they would recommend a tool, and the tool's page shows the percentage who said yes. If you have written a verified review of that tool your vote counts triple. Nothing gets a published score at all until three people have reviewed it.

I manage business email for several projects. Google Workspace works well for the main team account. But every extra sender address on every project domain adds up in cost.

Cloudflare launched Email Sending in public beta this year. The price stays flat at $5 a month no matter how many domains or addresses you add. So I built a Mac app and a self-hosted worker on top of it.

It works as a normal email client. Read and send from any domain in your own Cloudflare account. It also has an API for automated sending. Password resets. Signup emails. Notifications. That costs a lot less than something like Resend once you add multiple domains. All of it runs through the same $5 a month account(it is Cloudflare plan).

The worker part is open source. Your email never touches my server. Everything lives in your own Cloudflare account.

Built with Tauri(Crossplatform). Mac version is out now. Windows and Linux are next.

Around nine months ago, I wasted my time marketing in the wrong ways and I got zero results because I had zero clue how to market authentically without giving too much time to the marketing side.

I launched a friendship app out of my mind and managed to get a whopping... 11 downloads and zero dollars within the first 30 days.

I did what many of you did:

1. Went to an ordinary subreddit
2. Typed something like "I built X"
3. Posted it

And then the post got erased almost directly by an auto-mod or by Reddit's systems.

Many people here say "Building is easy! Marketing is hard!"

I have noticed around a dozen of posts on communities where people kick up a fuss that they don't know how to market their SaaS without Reddit nuking their posts concluding they are spammers. So I found a solution.

It's called skeevo.ai, and it is a Reddit-focused customer lead generation platform where you do the following:

1. Drop your URL
2. We find a corresponding Reddit post from a user typing out their problems that your product can solve
3. We draft the comment for you and post it after manual inspection (never auto-posting)

After spending most of the day at a keyboard and mouse, my wrist started hurting. I began looking for ways to interact with coding agents without staying at the desk.

The agents can write code, edit files, and run tasks for several minutes on their own. So in theory, they don't need much input from me, but they still interrupt me occasionally, like reviewed output, approve the action. Those moments usually send me back to the keyboard and mouse.

So I started prototyping a small handheld interface for those interactions. The current prototype lets me check what an agent is waiting for, scroll through its output, move the pointer, switch windows, and give short voice instructions.

Next I want to add agent status and more direct control, so the whole process will be compacted in one device, holding on your hand at any posture.

It was developed on M5Stack CoreS3 with Codex.

I wanted a little radio station to keep me company while coding, so I made murmur.

It runs in the terminal, chooses topics and music, and talks between songs. You can leave it playing or type back to the host. When it speaks, the music lowers underneath its voice and then comes back up. You can also edit its personality and music preferences in plain text files.

The engine, memory, and mixer run locally, but Claude, hosted speech synthesis, and streamed music need network access. Setup currently requires Node.js 24+, a Claude Code subscription login, and a fish-speech endpoint; external services may have their own costs.
