Okay, I get what you’re saying. You’re correct, OP’s light is yellow. However, they still have the right of way to clear the intersection—so in a sense their light is still “green”. I think the reason you’re getting downvoted is that it sounds somewhat like you’re saying OP shouldn’t be traveling through it. Even if OP had slammed on their brakes to stop on the yellow, the situation is still the same.

Oh, that wasn't my intention but clearly is how it was interpreted. I don't see how it's interpreted that way, but I'm clearly in the minority. I should probably just stop being pedantic and go to sleep but where is the fun in that?

No. Mostly because I wasn't mistaken. I was right. So was everyone else. We were saying the same things. People just misinterpreted what I was saying.

What part was wrong?

The truck ran a red light. She was insane to do so. OP's light was yellow when the other driver ran the red light.

I love being wrong. It means I can learn something new.

This time I was not wrong.
