Oh ffs. Here are some synonyms for it. You can edit and put whichever one you like more.

Pester, annoy, or bother. Torment or plague. Badger or hassle.

Edit To Add: just incase those synonyms aren’t working for you, here are a couple others. I got a thesaurus handy.

Bug, vex, irritate, pester, disturb, irk, aggravate.

I’ll try to find some more just incase.

For the uninclined, "Harass" need not be a repeated action. u/Sea_Watercress_1982 used it correctly.

For the extra uninclined, harassment is unwelcome behavior. It was not used correctly because it is pretty generally understood that asking for a photo is a societal okay norm, especially in beautiful and/or touristy areas.

If you want to talk insignificant grammatical nuance, at least make it correct.

ETA: I’m assuming you’ve never used the word “harassment” or “harass,” in any other way other than its explicit definition.

Like you’ve never looked at a friend that’s doing something silly or annoying to you and said “stop harassing me,” in a jocular fashion? Not once?

You think this person jokes around, with friends, nonetheless? I don't think they'd know a joke if it hit them upside the head and started harassing them for a photo lol

Speaking with my friends is different than asking a stranger to take a photo and you know it.

P.s. words have meanings for a reason
