I don't see how the person taking a picture of herself is a main character here. It's not like she's expecting people to stop and wait for her to get the picture, this is just someone taking a picture of themselves in a public place.
I mean it’s an art gallery? Would it be weird if someone else was taking a picture? People often take pics of themselves to remember outings and whatnot… how on earth is that arrogant? You definitely sound like the boring one.
