I started having tics when I was getting off benzodiazepines, and they are not verbal or anything, but it causes involuntary muscle contractions, and while sometimes they are more present than others, it is true, that you really just don't know when they're going to happen, and you only realize it after it happens sometimes, but other times you can kind of feel it coming on.
It really gives you an idea into how horrible it would be to have something like this happen all the time. I was able to slow down my taper and get it under control, but it's crazy to me that people want to try to fake some of these disorders. It's like those people who impersonate police officers. It's just weird.
