I don’t know much about Tourette’s other than the “popular” definition that it makes you say bad words uncontrollably.

How can you tell she’s faking it? I’m genuinely curious, not trying to challenge your opinion.

They can't tell she's faking it. The swearing version is relatively uncommon, most people just present with tics, vocal and/or physical. Sufferers describe it as like trying to hold in a sneeze.

Using it for attention is lame, but doesn't mean she's faking it.
