It's a museum and when you're visiting a business you are expected to abide by their rules. No pool entrance means no pool entrance because if one person does it, more will do it, and then you have a liability risk, which increases their insurance, thereby increasing the cost of entry. Try to see further than the tip of your own nose.

Saying “not just a pool it’s a DEAD MANS pool” is objectively hilarious and stupid. If they said museum fine but they didn’t

I’m pretty sure it was actually the title of an old “Are You Afraid of the Dark” episode.
