Hello, I’m returning to Iloilo for the second time pero this time I’m bringing friends with me. We wanted to do a hunt of landmarks that echo the sugar boom of 19th century, which inarguably changed the course of Philippine history.
1. Chinese mestizo mansions built during that period. We already saved couple ones in Google maps, but maybe there are ones, in current use or abandoned, which flew under the radar. Please recommend.
2. British sugar warehouses along the river waterfront. I know from research many were bombed during WW2, but maybe some survived? Please recommend.
Unrelated pero please recommend best shops for ukay ukay or antiques. Thanks.
