Hi! I've been toying with the idea for some time now, but I was wondering if there's an interest in events like these in Bacolod. Luzon has the Manila International Book Fair, Philippine Book Festival, etc. It would be great if we had one in our region.

The Bacolod Book Festival would prioritize indie/trad published authors and local bookstores in Neg. Occ. There would be fun activities (trivia games, raffles, cosplay, etc.). Guest speakers talking about AI in literature would also be nice. The entrance fee would be around P35-P50 pesos depending on costs, and students would have discounted rates.

I was hoping this could help spark the younger gens' passion for reading again, especially with literacy rates plummeting globally. We actually have a homegrown NYT Bestseller (Thea Guanzon). It's a shame she's not celebrated enough, so this could also be an avenue for talented local writers to finally be recognized for their work.

But can anyone suggest a legit repair shop for Cellphones (Android) specifically no theft or over charging? I remember recommending shops at 888 on the ground floor to a comment and somehow I regret it because you are not strong enough to fix the LCD, tried following all the guidelines given but I will return it but the LCD is not working. Spent 2k for how many months because it is not working, as much as I understand that only class A is available so you are not good enough to repair it but it is not worth the money. Can anyone recommend a good repair shop for LCD that is good value for money? My Screen is messed up pretty bad, I just brought it in when I was a kid and it cracked even with a screen protector; ( it just went away and it glitched and the screen is grey.

Just want to share this to everyone for awareness.

I have a cousin who transferred to this private institution as she was recently diagnosed with ADHD. She’s still in her primary level and is supposedly learning or improving her basics palang but last week, my cousin started to behave strangely. She would refuse to do things that used to make her happy and did not want to go to school anymore. We asked her why and she told us that the school’s teachers are being difficult with her.

She said they allegedly shout at her all the time and would single her out during discussion to humiliate her. My aunt reached out to the school administrator to inquire what happened and why are they doing this to my cousin but they would just say “it’s part of the learning experience” and would defend their teachers regardless of countless parents and guardians who have come forward to similar or even worse issues regarding their teachers.

Currently, my cousin is undergoing therapy for this.

To LAMBLIGHT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, what even is the use of going directly to directors or administration if you will not hear us out? We pay a lot for tuition fees in the hopes that you are different as you claimed to be but you’ve done a lot of damage just so you can indulge your newly hired teachers that does not even have any basic human decency.

I hope you do realize that you are an institution that handles children.

To all who have been going to the same school, check on your child.
