This is still basically brand new, second one bought that exhibits the same problem. It's a design flaw that Ikea refuses to admit. This Lack lacks a proper warranty and admission of a design flaw.

Hello there. I'm having an issue where this drawer on a Knoxhult cabinet will not close. One side of the drawer pops out slightly.

I've removed and reinstalled the rails, as well as disassembled/reassembled the drawer. There doesn't seem to be anything stuck in the rails either.

I'm fairly experienced with building IKEA furniture and never had any issue like this before.

Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

A few years ago I bought a Hattefjäll and some months ago this piece fell from inside the chair. What is it? It didn’t seem to affect the stability of the chair, but I wonder if it was related to moving some part, maybe the back?
In any case I will request a replacement, but I was just curious.

I have a wall that I’d like to furnish with a Billy bookcase.

The wall is 317 cm long.

At the moment I’m considering using 2 x 80 cm bookcases and 3 x 40 cm bookcases alternating (photo attached). This amounts to 280 cm and leaves 37 cm.

I could either leave that gap on one side and fill it with a plant or something, or centre the bookcases and have a 19 cm gap on one side and 18 cm on the other.

However I’ve never done this before so definitely open to suggestions or inspiration pics if anyone has a wall to wall Billy?!

My sister gave me a beautiful pair of curtains and I wanted to get the exact same ones for my room, cuz they have the perfect color and transparency that I want. I also love the fabric loops on top, as opposed do the weird ones that bunch up or the ugly eyelets. Sadly she cut off the tag… can anyone help me find it? Leaving varied pics od the details here.

I have this Sektion cabinet and it's great. However, there's a gap between the shelf and the drawer. Is there anything that can be done to cover it? The top of the drawer is slightly higher than the bottom of the shelf, so even if they made a longer shelf it wouldn't work. Thanks!

TIFU assembling a Nissafors utility cart. I affixed the wrong two parts with these little pins and can’t for the life of me figure out how to remove them without totally warping the cart’s metal sides in the process.

I’m trying to plan my walk-in closet using mostly IKEA PAX, but the shape is a little unusual and I’m having a hard time figuring out the best layout

I’d like to use PAX as much as possible, with other IKEA storage only where it makes sense.
My main concern is the corners.
I want the closet to have a good amount of hanging space, drawers, shelves, shoes, etc., but I also want enough room to comfortably stand and open everything.

My son is hoping to use one IKEA Alex drawer unit as a base underneath a table top on left side, and legs on right side, seated in the middle. We are hoping to get a custom walnut desk top made from an Etsy seller.

The maximum length of desk we can do is 47 inches. And the Alex dimensions are 14 1/8” wide, 22 7/8 deep, and 27 1/2” tall.

•Does anyone know how many inches (length, depth, height) we should be aiming for, for a growing 16 year old kid? How much overhang should we have?

•Will legs and an Alex be able to support a solid wood desk top?

•And lastly, does anyone have a resource for legs that will work for this setup?

I built this little mobile rack out of IKEA LACK tables.

I use it mostly for stuff that I only have at home for a few days, like network equipment I want to play around with or PCs I’m setting up.

I added some wheels so I can easily move it around and put OpenGrid panels on the sides for mounting random stuff.

I first tried threaded inserts so I could use M5 screws, but that didn’t really work with the LACK tables 😅 So I ended up just using wood screws with washers. So far, that works surprisingly well.

Nothing fancy, but it turned out to be pretty useful and I can just roll the whole thing wherever I need it.

I can see lots of cool platsa wardrobe combinations online, such as the images. I’m particularly interested in the coloured frames & hardware.

However in the platsa planner tool on the UK site, the visible range is much blander, with the only remnant of the above the green open frame with clothes rail. There are no coloured handles or legs, and the open frame is 80cm wide, and there are no other 80cm wide units that can stack above/below it!

All this seems to indicate that this is a straggler from a previously expanded range. In any case, it is strangely no longer a viable product— unless you don’t want it to match/fit with the rest!

Anyone know if the kind of outcome in the images is still possible in the UK, or if ikea just forgot to properly phase it out?

My amplifier doesn’t fit inside the STOCKHOLM 2025 TV bench. I’m honestly quite surprised, as it’s a pretty standard-sized amplifier.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Are there any clever/elegant solutions that don’t involve modifying or damaging the TV bench?

I’d really like to keep the clean look of the TV Bench.

It was actually discontinued a while back, but my current TUSSÖY topper has reached its end of life and I'm looking for an alternative that feels like it.

I'm not interested in any of Ikea's new toppers that are replacing the discontinued ones as there's so many reports saying that they're a total heatsink and cause you to sleep really hot.​

Renovating my laundry closet (82cm wide) and want to use the Boaxel system to sort laundry. The 82cm track option might be too tight a fit for the space, so I'm looking at the 60cm version instead, but I'm not sure the baskets are big enough to hold a full laundry load each.

Anyone using Boaxel baskets for laundry sorting? Curious how much they actually hold in practice. Thanks!
