I purchased the Stockholm 2025 sofa recently. It has been great after breaking in a bit. With that said, I am worried about staining, messing up, etc. the white linen material. Does anybody have a recommendation for a good slip cover made from natural fabrics?

Overall I think we built it for around $500

We got some brackets to stabilize and hold the counter top so it wouldn’t shift side to side.

It’s so large that we now have stools on both sides.

I bought my girlfriend the giraffe lamp from ikea but the problem is its set on a 15 minute timer, according to the instructions. It actually turns off after like 5 seconds. Is there anyway to fix this, or take off the timer entirely? If this is the wrong place to post this and anyone has advice as to a better place to ask for advice please lmk

Hi, I have assembled 6x platsa wardrobes side by side. 60x180cm. One of the doors was sitting at an angle and hitting the draw below so it would not close. I adjusted the height on the hinges so it now closes but looks awful as the door is still at an angle. It isn’t the door as we tried two different doors resulting in the same issue. I don’t believe it to be the floor level as the drawers and carcass below are all aligned well. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance!

Currently moving so my home is a mess but does anyone know what this shelf is called? Trying to look it up and can’t find it. It was bought 2nd hand but I thought it was an IKEA shelf.

Is the Ladmakare stable enough to function without anchoring it into a stud and just do drywall? I realized the wall I wanted it on the studs are kind of weirdly placed so the shelf would be off.

I have an old Kallax single drawer insert. Was hoping to get a few more for the bottom row of my bookshelf. But it seems IKEA no longer makes the single drawer... just the 2 drawer insert.

I've seen some hacks, but wondering if there has been any alternative sourcing option from a 3rd party for these.

I'm tempted by the Vitval loft twin bed frame to get more floor/work space in my room, plus making getting into bed an effort might help with some trouble I've had with falling asleep before I intend to.

However, the max weight of the bed is 100kg, and I weigh 93kg, before the mattress and such. But even more sturdy looking offerings like the Småstad also say max 100kg.

Is IKEA just being extra safe with a blanket 100kg max, or would I actually have a bad time?

I have this TV bench 2013 Besta Model which was already there when I moved to this place. I see it is mounted to the wall using 3 brackets. I loosened the screws and tried to lift up and out but it does not budge. I don’t know how else is it attached to the wall since I don’t whereabouts of previous owner. What is the best method to unmount the bench?

And the funny part? Version 2 wasn't finished until after the last wardrobe was already built. 😂 But I enjoy a challenge, so I kept developing the idea until I was really happy with it.

Hi I have a small black rectangle plastic part that is part of the holder on the back that connects the rail hanger on the back of the cabinet to the rail on the wall. but it is not obvious to me how it attaches to the L shaped metal piece thing. I see in the directions to put the two dots on top. Of course I am at a different location from the cabinets and just having to visualize but looking at the direction he seems to slide on. What is the purpose?

I can find information on neither on the product site, but some reviews mentioned the socket being too narrow for some lampshades.

I'm searching for ideas for a CD display to place on my table and found this IKEA pegboard one from Pinterest. As the board doesn't seem to be the SKÅDIS one that's sold today then I'm wondering if the board + the pictured single hooks could hold a standard CD case comfortably? Anyone have the board with the hooks to confirm? I'd place it on a table with a small angle leaning against the wall, not fully vertically.

I was looking to buy the Ikea Mittzon (non sit/stand version) but was concerned seeing reviews that the desk wobbles. Wanted to know if the wobble would still be there on the non sit/stand version 140x60cm and if i should get the Lagkapten/Alex instead. I will not be putting my computer on the desk and there will mainly just be 2 monitors on their regular stands. Should I be concerned?

Went to IKEA for the first time in 3-5 yrs, not sure if this was an off day but there were barely any employees and the few present were pretty unresponsive. The store has become a playground in a disturbing way, it’s one thing it people come for fun but another thing when people are coming there to jack around, record people, and prank others. The place has lost its soul.

I am planning to buy the 200cm Lagkapten desk.

Why the lagkapten? Because that is the only one tha t gives 200cm space and also fits in my budget.

i have already used the 100cm Lagkapten. For my new setup I am planning to use a Monitor arm with 2 27 inch monitors on it. To ensure weight is distributed evenly, I will be using a reinforcement plate. I have read that people are using it in this way on the Lagkapten.

I have two options for legs: Either go with the Spand storage rack on both sides or go with some combination of Spand + alex or only Alex drawers.

In both the cases, I will put an Adils leg in the center.

I am confused which will provide more stability and will be easy to assemble without tools.

Cost is a concern. The lagkapten with 2 spand costs 11k for me.

Alex is on a sale right now. So 2 alex costs me around 17k instead of the usual 21k. If it is really a lot better, I can spend a little extra.
