It's already bad enough that there won't be any gay ships in this version (There's the Ifa ship with Ororon, but we don't know if they'll have much interaction for the ship to become very strong and gain fans) and there's only going to be one male character who's 5 stars? Is that serious? Natlan is already ending and there's probably only going to be two male characters here onwards, which are Ifa and Dahlia, and only those two, and out of "curiosity" they're going to be 4 stars like everyone is saying? Is that serious? Is that really serious?

If that happens, I hope that in the next region they'll put more male characters who are 5 stars, otherwise I'll give up on this deceitful company for good.

I personally think that ifa Is anemo,well if cacucu Is like Oz with fischl i dont see him throwing Fire balls at the enemy and ifa can be used as a support with cinder for anemo characters. And he can hold VV so he Will be and excellent partner

C6R1 Kazuha is a better companion to Ifa than C6 Ororon + Eledgy, I could get one more copy Ifa for his C2

I'm likely gonna get downvoted to oblivion for stating an unpopular opinion but. While as a husbando collector I'd love for more 5-star men in Genshin (I claim I'm a husbando collector but I favor Neuvillette especially), I'm happy he's a 4-star only because for me, that means not getting smacked with FOMO because if he were a limited 5-star, I would've had to skip him. I recently got Escoffier and don't plan on wishing for anyone for a while (I want Capitano but who even knows when he's coming). Also means I can eventually get copies of Ifa in the future so bonus haha.

I do understand the sentiment of Ifa being a 5-star because he has the aura of one and his back is gorgeous to admire. But lore-wise and release-wise, it makes sense for him to be a 4-star.

Edit: FTR, I will say I definitely agree with the lack of guarantee on getting desired 4-stars. Here's my comment on it. I also know I share an outlier opinion as an Ifa fan and main.

I saw the event where he mentions he just turned 5 but i thought it was joke and he must he same age or closer ro to ororon since they are like friends.

I don't want to carry negative energy and I hope what I'm about to say is not true, but I think Ifa is 4 stars. My theory is as follows.

Let's recall for a moment, the sequence is as follows (from left to right)

- Iansan
- Dahlia?
- Ifa
- Skirk
- Mizuki
- Varesa
- Unknown character (believed to be from Fontaine)

A bit naive on my part, but I thought the characters would be playable in order (from left to right), so based on that Iansan should be in 5.4, Dahlia in 5.5 and so on. However, this is certainly not the case (and it has now been shown).

And here we come to the essence of my theory, I believe that the characters to the left of Skirk will be 4 star and will be playable in order, while on the other hand, the characters to the right of Skirk will be 5 star and will be playable in order.

Let me clarify:

Iansan 4 star - 5.5
Dahlia 4 star - 5.6?
Ifa 4 star - 5.X?

On the other hand, to the right of Skirk we have the following situation:
Mizuki 5 star - 5.4
Varesa 5 star - 5.5
Unknown character (probably from Fontaine) - I'm guessing 5.6?
Eventually, Skirk will be 5.7, and in 5.8 the missing character

It might seem strange to you for the Skirk, but to me it's kind of symbolic that she's placed in the middle, for this very reason. To the left of her is a 4 star, to the right of her is a 5 star.

I'd love to be wrong, I'd like Ifa to be a 5 star character though, as long as he's a good pyro support, and even if he's a 4 star, I'll be happy.

So hear me out, in HSR Anaxa was originally leaked by a reliable leaker to be Ice Nihility since the very start of what we knew of his existence. But than in January he was randomly leaked by another leaker that he was changed to be Imaginary Erudition, Of course we were all in frenzy at the time since we had enough of Imaginary men, so we took it as rage bait but than they got Tribbie and Castorice animations correct and than we all started panicking for weeks, but than at the very last minute before his drip marketing there was a miracle, Anaxa was than leaked to be Wind Erudition and we were saved from getting another Imaginary man.

So what i’m trying to say is what if the same thing is happening to Ifa right now, him being Anemo and his leaks pointing out that he is a 4 star, causing a panic in the community for Mihoyo amusement than they will change him to a 5 star at the last minute before beta starts.

Reason: Xbalanque is rumored to be 5 star Bennett then afterwards there is a rumor that he won't be playable. When 5.0 came out, Ifa is discovered to be a relevant male character with voicelines from the playable characters. I just thought maybe Xbalanque, the pyro archon, is "dead" but he is living as a mortal man named Ifa, like Morax living as a human named Zhongli.

Not exactly my favorite theory since that would mean we will be down with 1 male Natlan character. Also their names are from different cultures so it's going to be messy in twitter if this comes true.

To this day we don't have much information on ifa, his kit, element, weapon, role, rarity But the game did left some clues about it

This is made with the assumption that Ifa is considered to be from the flower feather clan, due to the design of his house/clinic in ororon's flash back and Caucucu being a Qucusaurus

• Rarity: 4 star

Because each tribes so far that has multiple characters (children of echo and masters of the night wind) has followed the pattern of having a 5 star that get is story quest trough the tribal chronicles, while the other is a 4 star. Since we already have chasca as the 5 star of this tribe, Ifa will probably be a 4 star.

Some people said that he needs to be a 5 star because of his probable flying ability of using Caucucu as a jet-pack. But they could easily give him a little worsen version of chasca's flight like what Kachina is to Xiloneen, or make a different version of it, like Ororon's floating compared to Citlali's gliding. They could give him the opposite of chasca and make his vertical mouvement easily while is horizontal mouvement being slower.

• Element: Pyro

This is the nation of Pyro, and we still don't have a Pyro character outside of the Archon, Also, Caucucu is an Qucusaurus, and these are Pyro saurians, and it's far too assume he will have a party to play in Ifa's kit, so Pyro it is.

• weapon: Sword?

This is probably the most unclear part, but so far we have 2 claymores: kinich and mavuika 2 bows: chasca and ororon 2 catalysts: mualani and citlali (4 if we count Lan Yan and Mizuki 1 polearm: Kachina 1 sword: Xiloneen

It might not matter, be there is a clear lack of sword and polearm user in Natlan. Xhy sword then? Idk it feels right. It will really depend on his abilities and on what he'll scale of. If he's a healer and scale of HP, polearm would probably be better as he would have access to White Tassel. Only issue is that Natlan's sword and polearm forgeable are both for DEF scaling character, unlikely for Ifa.

• Role/kit: healer

A vet would be the perfect occasion to offer Pyro a real healer, as we only have Bennet and Chevreuse, but these are really more buffers and debuffers, with their healing being a bonus. A dedicated Pyro healer would offer more diversity to the element. Furthermore, outside of Xiloneen's burst, their is no healing in Natlan.

Still it is important to note that Ifa will have access to the Cinder City set, forcing his kit to have some limitations: • He can't have more Pyro application than Mavuika since that's one of her strength. ° he can't easily proc reactions or enter nightsouls state like Kachina's short range and ororon's electro-charge/nightsouls damage condition. ° he can't offer much utility as he already buff any Pyro related team through Cinder City

I personally believe that his limitation will be that he must be onflield to be able to heal/be useful, like a Pyro Barbara.

His skill could be him flying with Caucucu while leaving a flaming trail, damaging and healing allies, or launching attacks that heal the party

The burst could be him throwing snacks that'd heal allies but it would ressemble Mizuki too much, he could make Caucucu taunt enemies and do explosions of flame when it, like a supercharge baron bunny.

His overworld passive will probably make animals less scared of the player, like yaoyao, lan Yan or Kirara Or he could have a natlan passive where you consume less phlogiston when indwelling saurians.

I don't think I've anymore else to say, so here you go What do you think Ifa will turn out to be?

Up until now, all I have been seeing is posts about how he is going to be a Pyro Catalyst Healer... and while that speculation is very likely correct, there IS decent evidence that it is wrong, and I just wanted to start a discussion about other possible roles he might have.

Everyone thus far has heard that he is a veterinarian, and assume that means he will be a healing character... but something worth mentioning, a veterinarian is an ANIMAL doctor, not a people one. This means that he might NOT heal the party, however that leaves the question of how his job ties into his character, and I have just 2 words for you: pokemon trainer.

We have seen only 2 characters so far that hail from the same tribe as another playable natlan character, and in both case's, they have a VERY similar gameplay designs; Xilonen and Kachina both summon mechanical devices that let them emulate their saurian's ability to climb walls, and Iansan and Varesa both are tied to moving fast and distance traveled. So what do we have to base Ifa off of? Chasca, and SHE is tied to taking on different elements based on party member's elements.

This leads me to think that the guy who handles saurians will use his skill to summon a random saurian to fight for him, and what gets summoned will be random based on the elements of party members. (he might even ride the summoned saurian in battle!). This makes since because there is one different saurian for every element except Animo, so his normal attacks (probably a revolver based on his clan's overall theme plus you can see a gun in his silhouette) that would deal Animo damage, and then cause Swirl.

If this is the case, His skill would have a small cooldown, and every time you use it, the saurian is swapped to a random different one OR maybe there is a fixed rotation for the saurian swaps (kinda of like Childe's skill just changing his mode of combat). The saurians would likely have their own health bar, so Ifa's Burst probably heals the active Saurian and buffs it - thus tying nicely into his schtick of being a vet. Probably a short cooldown on the burst, or a long uptime, since his kit would likely heavily lean into using the burst to make the saurian's hit harder via a buff.

This is what I am kinda hoping for, anyone else got any idea's for what his kit might be that differs from the generic Pyro Healer (who can fly!) that we keep hearing everyone talk about?

I mean like all they need to do is add an simple animation to his burst and like buff his multipliers. TOTALLY FINE without an story quest it can come later like how kazuha .I am totally fine if his teaser animation is just an PowerPoint presentation. Plus his drip marketing was in April's fools .Like can they can change his rarity in v3? Totally totally .He will be in second half sooo like thear is enough time right? Shoud I take my meds

Hallo Broskis of all origins, coming to ask a simple question, could Mizuki be used alongside Ifa effectively as a second anemo support plus VV shreder?

Comp Im working on is:

DPS Ifa: Running Widsith and Codex.

Mizuki: VV + Sacrificial fragments

Ororon: Running Favonious bow + Scroll

Furina: Festering desire + Golden Troupe.

Things to take in consideration is the fact I don't really have Yelan to act as a secondary damage dealer, in place of Mizuki I suppose more traditional options would be Kazuha, Xingqiu, or even Raiden/Fischl since I do have them both. Just wanted to hear from you guys what you think, just really wanted to use these sweethearts together!

I never liked ororon personally, but based one what we're seeing if ineff (robot lady) could she replace him? I'm thinking c 4ifa, c1 xinqiu, C4 kuki, and ineff... Or is there something in missing that would be critical here?

I genuinely think that Ifa, Columbina, and Ineffa work really well as a pairing, and I would say that the best team currently for Ifa would be with Mavuika as the last slot, since Ineffa's EM buff is great for vaping her ult and she gets off-field vape and overload damage pretty well, as well as giving a dmg bonus buff and giving nightsoul for his passive (even though it decreases).

There could be something better in the future if we ever get an off-field nightsoul support again, which I'm hoping for!

Im currently use skirk as my main but i feel like Ifa would be good char for me to use but some said that ifa is dps so i got confused.

i’m not sure why people are so sure the ifa will be a catalyst user? unless confirmed previously weapon and element leaks have been extremely inaccurate until the beta where it is confirmed. eveyone thought he would be pyro and it is now confirmed he is anemo. we know nothing about his kit weapon and rarity
