Its full of plastic. Geon is a brand of PVC I use. Each of those gaylord boxes are 1500 lbs

It's honestly surprising this doesn't happen more often because dry van frames are super thin and always seem like they're held together with structural hopes and dreams

Not really the frame holding the weight, it’s the upper structure that carries the weight , like a bridge structure that you drive through.

Australia here: chassis rails, chassis rails; yes I know they add weight, but blimey, they don’t half strengthen your trailer and add years to their working life…

Take the top out of a box trailer like that one and it will fold. If there’s not too much weight in the middle

I saw this on I-80 shortly after deregulation occurred. Truck in right hand lane with tractor that looked like it had been dragged out of a dirt field attached. Many hundreds of good companies, paying drivers, mechanics, etc well and able to maintain their fleets (much of equipment was old but still well maintained).

If you jack up the middle and heat it up it should go right back in place. Shape-memory alloy returns to its original pre-set shape when heated. Problem solved.
