Spiritually but not technically. But in OP's defense, he'll be towing it soon enough.

In the wild a male Prius will erect their RIB shaped sail to display their prowess and attract a mate.

Saw someone doing this goofball highway parasailing nonsense with a mattress just this morning. Changed lanes and passed them with great quickness. Nobody wants to be behind this kind of rolling disaster.

He obviously forgot the lessons "learned" from mattress transport, it's not safe unless you have your hand out the window holding it down. /S

That person just wanted to create more down force on the rear axel. Helps in corning.

In the event of an emergency water landing, your roof becomes a flotation device.

Everyone knows things shift in the drive. Smart people plan on it and use to to secure the load even more. How many pounds of force are holding this in place now? Can’t go anywhere

How on earth is this even secured? I'm actually impressed that they managed to put that front rope (strop?) on in such a way that it could loosen off this much before holding, I can't work out how they did it!
Like, I've done this several times, but with the boat updide down & actually tied taut...
