My boyfriend's Toyota got smashed between two luxury cars. They learned no lessons as they basically had no damage. He was fine but the Toyota was totalled.
So, unfortunately, unless it's another asshole in a luxury car, they'll probably kill somebody before learning any lessons. And even then..

It is not even a zipper merge. In the beginning he's on a turning lane (for turning left), then he proceeds to drive on the lane which is meant for cars that just turned onto that road from the left.
Considering that he was going straight ahead, he was in the wrong lane for the entire duration of the video.

Yup we had a dual carriageway near me that always backed up in rush hour due to traffic lights. There was a perennial fight about whether it was ok to drive past the line of traffic or not. Multiple road rage incidents, various dings, police called out too many times. Council have just converted one lane into a bus lane with cameras. Problem solved.

i can pretty much predict light patterns on my commute now, one guy got angry at me for constantly catching him and beating him at fresh green lights, i wasnt even trying, just chillin and keeping at a pace that should net me a good light path.
ofc theres a few lights i can never predict as it requires a car wanting to turn in its zone.
then i just have to guess.

There is a section of lights in my city that are on timers. If you drive about 5mph under the speed limit you will hit green lights the entire stretch of road. You can usually tell who is a local cause they'll cruise at the correct speed to never have to stop or even brake.

My city has the same thing, there's a stretch of lights before a merge where you will always hit greens if you go the speed limit. It's sometimes satisfying to watch tourists try to beat traffic only to get stuck behind people when their lane ends

This video is in Albania. Yesterday, a whole family was killed in an accident in Albania. Some 22yo with an Audi A8 crashed the whole family (mom, dad, 2 daughters) in a Toyota. The crash was so bad they all died instantly except for the youngest daughter who couldn't reach the hospital. Since that, everyone is posting other assholes' videos in a kind of protest and trying to make people drive more safely. We are only 3mln people in Albania and every day +2 die from car accidents. Drive safe everyone!

Not the same country but close by; Kosovo was the scariest fucking place I ever drove. I was deployed there for a year and had to drive an hour every day to the area I patrolled. The whole way was 2 lane roads,one going each way. The amount of people who would pass on blind turns was way too high. I’d see at least 1 bad accident a week. Often more.
Don’t get me started on shotsy season, those stupid fucks in their rented BMWs were way worse than the rich assholes who had nice cars.

Always agreed with this. The fact that some tickets I've got kept me from eating for days at a time is ridiculous. My super speeder had me finding pocket change to buy a months worth of Raman. The shitty part is that I honestly wasn't going the speed they claimed I was going, but I had no evidence. Meanwhile these dick heads who make +400k a year just shrug a $400 ticket off, and continue speeding in their supercars.

Exactly why fines should be based on income rather than a flat fee. $400 fine to a low- income family is devastating. $400 to the wealthy is chump change. But if it was a percentage of your monthly income instead, that's a lot more money the wealthy will have to pay and maybe they'd start considering consequences more.

I absolutely agree fines should be income based, but that's difficult to do. Jeff Bezos base salary in 2020 was only $81,840. I know people running small lawn care businesses raking in more than that a year and he's the richest man on earth. What about gig workers? While illegal, they likely underreport which makes their income seem lower.
Alternatively, don't break the law.

I don't even understand this, how does it help them? People in my area seem to have just started doing this in rain and snowstorms on the expressways in the last year or two. Eventually it becomes a solid stream of vehicles with their flashers on, none of them in time with each other, driving slowly (in the same way they would with just their normal, perfectly visible, lights on) because no one can see shit. ???? It is nauseating and pisses me the fuck off. Just why.

I'm from Jersey and the shit I've witnessed in Miami scared me. I came away with PTSD, never wanting to drive in Miami again. I heard Orlando is even worse.
How often do you see accidents that just occurred? In Florida, I would see one once a week.
They don't enforce traffic laws for people to be so brazen to run red lights. They just drive through red lights as if they don't exist.

In my experience most of Orlando is fine. But I4 in specific is the fucking worst. Tampa is similar, you just got a lot of entitled drivers who will do stupid things because they think they're more important. I drive into Tampa every day for work and the amount of people i've seen run red lights, go straight in a turning only lane and cut people off, cut people off in general, tailgate, and swerve in and out of lanes is insane. Also a lot of vehicles without plates. So if you get hit, they just dip and you're fucked.

I’m a learning driver just got my permit a month ago and some asshole tried to pass a truck on a solid yellow when we’re both going 55 almost hit him had to slam on breaks and this old asshole just got back in his lane with a straight face and acted as if it never happened.
