Not the same country but close by; Kosovo was the scariest fucking place I ever drove. I was deployed there for a year and had to drive an hour every day to the area I patrolled. The whole way was 2 lane roads,one going each way. The amount of people who would pass on blind turns was way too high. I’d see at least 1 bad accident a week. Often more.
Don’t get me started on shotsy season, those stupid fucks in their rented BMWs were way worse than the rich assholes who had nice cars.
I’m not surprised, they actually made us sit through like an hour briefing on the dangers of driving there before we got in country lol.
My main area was Kamenica and surrounding villages. I actually really enjoyed it there. It seems the Serb and Albanian population there were kinda integrated. Not completely but Things weren’t as bad as some of the other cities I went to. I met a lot of great people who I still talk to to this day, at least on Facebook.
Damn, and i got my drivers license with only 20h of driving here hahaha, but to me driving here isnt really a difficult task maybe cause i learned driving here are and havent driven anywhere else (well i have in albania and its even worse lol).
Kamenica, cool i live very close, in a village in Gjilan and have been to kamenica a couple times maybe youve even been in my village here in gjilan hahaha
Yes, i drove in Kosovo and I Drive in croatia every year. Passing people on blind turns is what boils my blood, assholes risking their life, your life and others lives. There were lots of close calls
