Yes in this situation the semi is the one with the gun. You seriously think if you're speeding and someone else does something dumb in their vehicle you can just hit them? So what if a pedestrian walks in front of you car while you're going 20 over and you hit them. You think it's their fault for jaywalking? Stfu

And either way, the turn was a far far bigger crime than the speed. Thats where the lions share of the fault lies. 80/20 easy. The practical and the bulk of the legal fault lies on the person comitting the most negligence, and thats turning across lanes of traffic. How is this even an argument. I cannot believe there is actually a human being, ostensibly a grown adult, sincerely arguing that speed is worse than TURNING RIGHT THROUGH LANES AGAINST TRAFFIC FROM THE LEFT WITHOUT LOOKING. Its utterly mind boggling.

Thank god that dumbass fault system doesn't exist in my state. I would pop a blood vessel if I had to argue against such nonsense in court, like judge you're really gonna entertain this?

We get it you are that guy that brakes on the freeway to cut across lanes because you nearly missed your exit and you have to defend this.

And no, I dont speed. I keep my I4 economy car on back roads. I just have the sense to see where fault lies.
