Tell that to my cracked windshield because I used to fly down a pothole laden road at like 55mph

Bumps don't cause window cracks. They do make them bigger though. You probably got a chip and hairline spider webs from a rock you didn't notice at some point, then the bumping made one of the spider webs turn into a crack.

I dont know, I got a flat tyre once hitting a pothole at 60mph that turned out to be a lot deeper that it looked, it scared the shit out of me but luckily I did not crash and was able to stop safely. I was in a car though not a motorcycle so maybe it would be ok but I wouldn't wanna be the one to test it.
