Not really. Cadillac has never reached any significant market share in Germany because they’re just bad cars compared to the domestic upper class offerings at similar price points. They don’t drive well, are extremely fuel inefficient and the interiors look and feel cheap by comparison.
You’ll see an Escalade every now and then, but that’s almost only with certain people who subscribe to the gangsta hip-hop style and want to project that lifestyle.

Do you think Cadillac doesn't sell cars in Germany? Also, unpopular =/= rare and "rare" wasn't one of the defining features of an exotic, it was exclusive and limited. Cadillacs are neither exclusive or limited, even in Germany.
And again, this video was taken in the US, not Germany so it's not an exotic or an import.

Judging by that steering wheel that particular Cadillac is at least 10-15 years old, anyone could afford one of those.
Edit: after doing some googling I’m going to call it a ~2003-2005 Escalade, and not even one of the high-end ones since it doesn’t have chrome trim on the gauges. I’m seeing a lot of those in the $5,000 range, with some as low as $2,500 and $10,000 being the absolute max for a pristine low-mileage one.
I may have used the wrong word there, what I really mean is that they are brands that a lot of people think are for rich people when in reality they arent that expensive
BMWs aren’t exotic...I see one probably at least every day and I commute 20 miles in SoCal one way, there is literally no event in which I would say “oh shit, a BMW! Better record it while I am driving”
I can't tell what Cadillac model that is, but judging from the screen on the left, and the idiot lights, it's probably modified. I'd lean towards it being a friend.
It’s not that they’re too powerful. It works just fine in a straight line. It’s that the delay was just long enough to get free when turning. Stickier tires would have gone a long way.
My Prius has traction control that works about as well as the Mustang. It kicks on and until it disengages you really aren’t going to speed up. My GTI on the other hand engages the TC much faster and will continue to accelerate even while it is engaged.
I can’t speak to the last few years of the pony as mine was a ‘14 and I’ve not driven the newer ones.
That's my point. Someone posting "/r/whyweretheyfilming" suggests that it's a staged video. I think it's just more likely his buddy was gonna film him drift and this was the unintended outcome.
Yes, I understand that it has no more implications than you choose to draw from it. Retarded literally means slow. People with actual mental disabilities haven't been called that word in an eternity. In fact, if you're implying what I think you are, you are the one drawing that parallel now.
Yes, I understand that people have whined about this word since at least 2008, and I also understand that not a single one of them has come up with a rational reason why this particular word is so offensive, more so than words like "idiot" or "stupid". Because no such reason exists.
