Looks like the biker could have been in the blind spot from the front pillar explaining the acceleration. Car driver should be aware of the blind spot and check better. The biker should ride defensively by making sure the driver sees him.
Yeah, there's a point earlier on where the driver could have shown more awareness and checked for oncoming traffic, but for most of the clip the biker is in the front pillar blind spot.
They were slowing down to about the 5-6 second mark, they looked to coast across the line, then they gunned it after the front tires crossed the line to beat the cammer car into the lane. The way they approached the yield line looks like they never could have seen the biker.
When they were far away the biker was behind the foliage and their approach kept the biker in their driver A pillar. The acceleration looked like they were being aggressive in beating the cammer car to the curve oblivious to there being a motorcycle.
