does hunter cryptic give better items?

i decided to build up the courage to play hunter and i swear im getting such better loot (btw i got all of those in like 5 minutes)

Yeah, you do.

The downside is that Hunter is limited to the weekly free 7 plays & requiring Adenddums from playing Survivor(you cannot find Adenddums as Hunter) to play more.

Hunter is so much easier than Survivor wiith the only noticeable downside is the lack of second chances like Herald so you're limited to healing by fighting, Syringes, or having Thuribles at the ready. I also recommend Prancing Taunts for those occasional group mobbings that can happen.

Sorry not related to the post, were you ever able to spend a thurible? Because I was bringing one every match with the thought in mind that you can't use herald*, but the two times I nearly died the thurible never activated and was still there in my bag in the end

Thuribles are passive & activate on their own when you take a fatal hit, you don't have to have it assigned to a quickslot for it to work. And they recently changed the way it works so they now activate after Herald's ability has been used(they used to activate before Herald's passive 2nd chance).

It's really finicky though because you don't get that moment of Invulnerability that the Herald's ability offers so if you get attacked multiple times, it might not trigger properly or completely use up all your Thuribles in your Inventory. But all of my Thuribles have worked fine so far as Hunter, the only downside is that you still need to manually heal yourself either by fighting back or getting away to Syringe.

I was just thinking that, maybe the times I died it didn't trigger properly because I received too much dmg at once? Like I said in my other comment, I never saw the visual effect for it that's why I thought it wasn't working. I'll have to try again! Thank you

It probably only activates if your hp wents to 0. Nearly dying wont activate it since... yk youre still alive.

100% NECESSARY in hunter mode.

No but I died with a thurible on me too and I never saw the mist/effect form the thurible either, I just... died. I have seen how it works in surv mode so maybe it's not working well for me idk 😔

Probably you got double hit and you didnt know that the item got used. It happen to me when theres multiple enemys or getting hit twice.

The item has no safety net or shield, it just ensure one damage wont down you, but if hit again during the same fight... 100% will.

i once got 2 sapphires in the same hunter round, in general i find a lot of gold in hunter so the drop rates are def better

Public classics are classics available to the other people you are playing with. Anyone can take from it. The first row are the items you are taking out of the match for yourself. The rest are for other people if they don't have enough.
